I ordered from grub hub and this restaurant called and asked me if I had cash for the order. When I confirmed I did not, they... asked if I had Venmo. They told me it would be 20% off with cash and 10% off with Venmo and ordered me to cancel the orderthrough grub hub and call to order directly from the restaurant. I said no, I am keeping the order as is they informed me no onewould be able to delivery it since ?grub hub drivers are never around?. I then received a text telling me that if I paid incash when it arrived I would receive a discount. In addition, that there were no grub hub drivers and the food would be verylate since I did not order directly through them. I received notification, no joke, 8 minutes later that GRUBHUB was outsidewith my food. I don?t understand why the company would feel this was an appropriate thing to do or would be well received.Ordering through a third party is what protects the consumer from being ripped off by weird, hustling businesses. Best sushi in center city! The food is always fresh and high quality and the staff are prompt and kind!
So first off I waited 2.5 hours for delivery! During that period I called twice to check on my order and twice I was told it was... out with the driver. On the third call I was told the order was never put in to begin with! I'm so disappointed having to writethis review, because this place is usually quick and reliable. I used to live where I was lucky enough to have my choice of sushi every week to moving and not finding good sushi in our area..... so when we were visiting Philly, sushi was a must! Def did not disappoint, best sushi ever. Read more

Delicious Japanese food..however anytime I go there they keep on fighting or arguing with themselves. It looks really scary. No... respect for customers that they were showing their arguments in front of the customers all the time. This is 3rd time I haveseen them arguing with each other. They should not show this in front of the customer. No customer centric ethics. Read more
