Went here for a party, the hall that was rented was in the basement, set up was nice and plenty of room for everyone. The food... was fantastic! Fresh rolls next to the hot trays, with a choice of roast beef, roast pork, meatballs and chicken tenders. Theside table was set up with plenty of condiments and potato salad as a side and was very fresh. The ladies serving were verypleasant and generous with portions and the bar tender was also great. Would recommend Nick's for a special occasion or just tohang out upstairs for awesome food and drinks! Read more

Went to Nick's for the first time tonight. I have lived in Philly for over 35 years and never had a chance to check them out. ... Do not wait like I did lol. Good food, great service, nice welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely visit again and I dorecommend them to anyone. Read more

This place has fallen off a lot. It looks dirty inside. Even our table was dirty when we sat and we had to ask for it to be... cleaned. I got their signature hot roast beef dip sandwich and this thing was super bland. Tasted like rubber. Our drinks werealso very unbalanced and almost un-drinkable. My wife said the mussels were pretty good. Not enough to bring us back. Read more

We where in the nice basement for a party. Had excellent cheese steak egg rolls maybe halve a hour before the food was put out.... Want to go back for their weekday lunch special. A roast beef or pork sandwich with forget if it said soda or a beer. Place wasvery clean including the bathroom. Was nice that the waitress brought out chicken nuggets & french fries for the kids a good 20minutes before food was put out. Read more
