I can't recommend enough. Very sweet staff who genuinely love their business, backed by a kitchen of absolute masters. We had a... table right by their line and could watch them making all the food during a rush Sunday brunch. Even busy as they were, thestaff never seemed stressed and were very kind with customers. Tons of families. Very happy spot with a super menu. Read more

We walked about a mile from our hotel and waited about 40 minutes for a table on Sunday morning. Once seated we waited another... 30 minutes for our food to arrive. It was SO worth the wait! My husband had the best breakfast burrito of his life and I had thepumpkin pancakes. Delicious food, attentive servers and the owner was delightful. Morning Glory will definitely be our breakfastplace if we get back to Philadelphia again! Read more

We've been coming here for 10 years and still love it. The food is so good. Great portions- be prepared to take some home or... leave wicked full. The service wasn't epic during our most recent trip (08/2022) but that won't stop us from returning. Thisplace is heart and hard work and absolutely worth it. Still cash only. Still human rights oriented. Read more

We started off a beautiful day at the Morning Glory after trying to find a place with both veg and regular options, we noticed... there was a tofu scramble and went to try out this cute diner. Know that it's cash only and there may be a short weight, butit's worth the prep work! The service was super friendly, the owner was there and checked on us personally, and the food wasawesome! The tofu scramble actually had a homemade seasoning blend and a nice variety of veggies, coupled with their grits androsemary potatoes it was a very nice veg meal. The hubby had an omelette that he really enjoyed and we both left happy, full, and ready for a fun day on vacation! Thanks Morning Glory! Read more

don't let the outside fool you. it's tight and dark and unimpressive, but the food is all that matters. my first visit won't be... my last. best way to visit Morning Glory is to sit at the counter and watch everything being made while you wait. you'llappreciate the food even more that way. love the old-school metal coffee mugs. staff is very friendly even though they all looklike the just woke up and grabbed the first clothes they found from the night before. looking forward to going back. Philadelphia is a breakfast city and one of the best can be found at the unassuming and homey Sam's Morning Glory. Their... delicious offerings such as sausage gravy and corned beef hash are made even better by Sam's signature square tall biscuit. Besure to try the house made catsup even if you don't THINK you like that condiment. Make sure to keep at least a corner of yourbiscuit to try their scrumptious berry and apricot preserves. Read more
