Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced. Great spot in South Philly. Marras has by far the best tasting gravy (yes,... gravy) I've ever tasted. Read more

They sat us, it was so hot in there,. No windows open or fans on, but worst part was we waited 15 minutes ,( no exaggeration)... and the only person who greeted us was bus boy with water. Also, when we went in, hostess was in a convo with waitress. Askedus how many, then told us where to go. No one walked us with menus. Might as well have been self serve. Their service has gonedown. We walked out due to the intense heat and lack of service. Read more

This has ALWAYS been my favorite Italian Restaurant... and it still is! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered... 2 large pies, mussels(red), & antipasti. We were given plenty of Sarcone's bread also. We left full and happy as always! Read more

Some of the best overall Italian food in the city and definitely some of the best pizza anywhere.

I got Alla Penne Ala Vodka, Magherita Pizza, Alla Bianca Pizza. The pasta was good, I love it. The pizza is big, the "personal... size" is enough for 3 of us. Read more

This place is exactly how it was 25-30 years ago. Whether that's a plus or minus is up to you. Sat outside on a warm summer... night when every restaurant on Passyunk was crowded with folks spilling on to the street. Most of Marra's business was pickup, and I understand why. From the first impression (Zagats ratings in the window from a decade ago - does anyone even use Zagatsanymore?), to the EXTENSIVE menu that doesn't seem to have any fresh, new ideas on it, to the bathrooms that haven't beenrepainted in 20 years, everything about the place says "dated". This is a real shame, since, other than the too much dressingon my salad, everything was delicious. Most of the folks doing pick up seemed to be over 60, and I only saw 2 doordashers. With a fresh menu and vibe, this place could be great - especially with it's absolutely amazing location. If it staysthe way it is, I expect it will close in the next 5-10 years and Philly will miss out on REALLY good pizza. Read more

Ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, and garlic bread. The alfredo was pretty good, but the scampi and garlic... bread.. horrible. The scampi had no flavor and the ?garlic bread? was literally a hoagie roll with who knows what in the middleof it. Prices are too high for the quality. Someone recommended Marra?s to me and let?s just say, I will not be going back. Read more

Classic red sauce Italian. Their pizza is outstanding, as was the chicken parm. If you want old school Italian, this place has... it in spades. Read more
