Went there for the first time this past summer. Got there right at the start of happy hour. We were able to be seated as soon as... we got there and we opted for outdoor seating since it was nice out. The hostess led us to one the outdoor shed coveringoptions they had. Our waiter came pretty soon after that. He was ok - definitely polite and somewhat attentive but sewe not toknow a couple of things we asked about (hopefully he's good now!). Food was ok. Festive decorations. Amazing drinks. I tried their Thunderbird with red sangria which was refreshing. My shrimp enchiladas was... out of the world. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. As a Mexican I can tell you this is not Mexican food ????....this place was over priced for the portion we got. my friends and... I spent over $100 we ordered tacos but the size was more like mini tacos with no flavor plus they gave us tomatoes and lettucefor the mini tacos like WHAT! IS THIS TACO BELL...any who we also ordered over priced quesadillas that was the size of what thetacos should have been... and we also got enchiladas de pollo and carne it was not good it had absolutely nooooo flavor I had tograb my telescope to try and find some flavor but nope it wasn't there it was so disappointing...if anybody wants real Mexicanfood make your way to South Philly Barbacoa you can thank me later...we came here because it was late and it was a Sunday andthey was open it had 4 stars and ppl said it was good but they lied there's nothing Mexican about this food now if you want okfood eat here but if you want Mexican food go else where. Norah the Host was friendly and accommodating and it just so happens that it was dumb luck that I met her as she was filling in... for her co-worker who was on break to care for her cat. The food was more authentic tasting than those leading Mexican Grillfranchises. I've really been having a craving for real Mexican rice. They have both red and on request green rice which is qfine departure from the white and brown I've been getting as of late. Well done job. Complimentary chips and sauce and only $9debit card. I had a nice time at Loco Pez. I sat at in booth in the outside seating area, and a waitress came as fast as i sat. I had a bowl... of tortia soup, one chorizo and one alpastor taco, an enchilada platter with rice and beans and some fries. It was all washeddown with a Mango Margarita. I will be coming again soon. VERY disappointed. Would not come here again. Setting: Restaurant decor was welcoming Customer service: very lazy not great... customer service and not very attentive to customers Food: better off getting food from Taco Bell because this was sad. Came in for lunch. Server was attentive, quick, and friendly. Ordered mushroom quesadilla with guacamole. Food was delicious.... Also, they were playing Russian darkwave, so bonus for style points. Decor is cute. Read more
