A bit expensive but great food. Update 6/26/22 I am over than 5 years customer of Judah Mediternean Grille! After giving this... place 5-stars review, I decided to edit it to 1-star after being treated like a dog. I came one again to eat here after driving1 hour and a half to eat lunch. I ordered Shawarma in Lafa, the restaurant was completely empty beside 1 occupied table of 3people. Not a busy day or time, at all. There were 2 nasty girls over the counter which forbid me to sit earthing my Lafa. "WEDON'T SERVE LAFA PN THE TABLE", the short fatty girl said. "But the restaurant is empty and it's too hot outside, can I sitquickly to eat my sandwich", I replied almost begin them for permission to sit. The girl said again very nasty and rude, almostyelling at me: "WE DON'T SERVE LAFA ON THE TABLE, PLEASE LEAVE AND HAVE A NICE DAY". She was badly sarcastic, mean like a witchand gave me a nasty look with evil eyes. I took my sandwich and left to eat outside in the hottest day of the week. If this isthe way you treat returned long time customer, I might not comeback again. There are so many other Israeli/Mediterneanrestaurants all over Philly, so I better try them giving a business to someone who appreciate my money and especially me, as acustomer. Yummy Yummy yum! This place is delicious! The hummus is incredibly creamy and loved the roasted eggplant. Also the pita is super... fluffy and we loved the shawarma also! HUGE disappointment! I rave about Mediterranean food because it's delicious and created with care. I had high hopes for Judah... after a Jewish friend recommended it! Last night I ordered a shawarma platter with rice and salad $22.95 + shawarma in pita$12. Every bite had hard chicken or burnt chicken pieces. The portions were completely awful and the flavor was not worth theprice by a landslide! As soon as I looked at the food, I knew appearance wise it was as not worth more than $6. Bad experience! I?ve ordered mix platter. And got chicken with onions and mushrooms, smaller size. No shawarma, No sauce? called... the restaurant thinking they put the wrong order. And they said to call Uber as they delivered it. Like the Uber driver replacedthe order lol. Just be aware that the order you?ll get is not the same as on their menu. Will never order again. The food and prices were ok; 4 stars because they were out of schwarma. Also we came at 8pm and had a super rushed experience... they were rushing us and basically closing the lights and restaurant while we were still eating... Read more
