We have been coming to Hook & Reel since they first opened. We can tell there has been a turnover in staff since then. The... quality has changed tremendously. We usually order a huge amount enough to feed 5-6 people. The serving we got for take out wasenough for 1 person. Not sure how long this place will stay open since even the all you can eat isn?t bringing folks inanymore. Wish you guys the best but this was our last visit. Read more

I know it?s a seafood place but, I had ribeye. I?m not a fan of pan fried steak however, this was a very good steak. The staff... was attentive and courteous and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food. Read more

The customer service is ok. The food is not as good. The restaurant is not as clean as the hook and reel in Franklin Mills. I... wouldn?t come here again. For the prices, I expected more. I asked for sauce for my wings, the waiter brought me water in asauce cup with Cajun seasoning. I can?t make this up lol! Read more

I?ve been going to Hook&Reel on the boulevard since they first opened. The last six months or so they have just gotten very lazy... and stingy. I understand due to Covid prices had to go up, but what I don?t understand is how prices go up and they give youless food than before. Today myself and three co-workers made a take out order. we had to go there two different times and bothtimes our order wasn?t right. I ordered a shrimp boil with a pound of shrimp, corn, potatoes, broccoli, and a pound and a halfof sausage. I only had six shrimps and and a half a pound of sausage, when they charge me three times for the sausage. Mycoworker order was all screwed up and had the wrong spice level. All of our order were between $40 & $50. We were sodisappointed and I will not be returning. Read more

We enjoy the food (took out this time), but observed this location isn't the cleanest. The staff was having a great time... laughing it up and cursing telling their stories (youngsters). Gone are days of professionalism. Made me wonder if place willbe open much longer. Read more

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love seafood. So I tend to eat it quite often. With that in mind, I know what overcooked... crabs are. My king crabs were overcooked so the shell was too soft to crack. When I asked for new ones they just reheated thesame crabs I already had. They did wound up putting more of the other stuff on my platter to make it seem like I had a newplatter but guess what? Same ole $68 king crabs. When I suggested to the manager that they were the same crabs he insisted theywere not. But unfortunately for you Sir, I already had pictures and videos of my food because that's what us foodiesdo??????????? to verify. The only reason I didn't make a fuss and just took my soggy crabs home was because I had more corn, shrimp and broccoli. Everything else was quite delicious but if I'm going to pay $70 for two and a half king crab legs I expectthem to be made properly. My server was polite attentive so he received a 40 dollar tip???? I like my crab ???? legs to come piping hot! Also.. it was a bit weird to me to have the seasoning under all the seafood vs... mixed all over it. That's just my personal preference, but it did allow for a cleaner photo of the foods. I think I would havelike it better if I went with the lemon pepper seasoning vs the house seasoning Read more
