Their coffee is very good. Done of the baked goods are terrific, but not all. I don't care for the scones. The sandwiches are... really exceptional. Particularly the breakfast sandwiches. They are done if the best in the city, and I don't just mean the bestvegan breakfast sandwiches. All around. Read more
My absolute favorite coffee shop in the city. 10/10 always. I highly recommend the iced latte with soy and toasted marshmallow!
Grindcore house has been with me through my entire journey of being vegan. Coffee shops have always been one of my favorite... places, but the fact they embraced grindcore, punk, hardcore and the entire music scene in philly is even better. I was a bigfan of coming here to spread leftist propaganda and try new flavors of vegan baked goods. The problem with many vegan bakeriesis that they lack diversity in flavor. The first time I walked into Grindcore x Crust I saw they had a baklava cheesecake. Andsince then I've been hooked. I waited to get my hands on the sesame buns, lemon danish bun, and funfetti bun. They had 4 inchpies for 3/14 or Pi day this year. I can't recommend this place enough to traveling vegans, or to anyone in West Philly. TheStaff are also super sweet and kind. Read more

Great pastry and tea selections. Friendly staff, plenty of seating and natural light. The heavy metal/rock music in a coffee... shop is quite the juxtaposition, but good place to breathe and either take in the day or release the day that was. Sweetstrawberry ginger tea is AMAZING! Read more
