Have done a pickup order from here before, but ended up going here for food & drinks about a week ago. When you first come in,... it looks like it's just a pizza place, but there's a bar & dining area with TV's towards the back. We got there early enough tocatch the drink specials during happy hour and beat more of the crowd that eventually came in. We decided to sit at thebar. The bartender was great and a cool guy - good service, personality, just attentive enough and good at stirring upconversation. We ordered a few drinks along with the Buffalo Shrimp and Wings as our apps. I wasn't expecting the buffalo shrimpto come out how they did, but they were really good! Great size shrimp that were sauteed (rather than fried which is probablywhat I was expecting), drizzled and sitting in buffalo and ranch dressing - you can get blue cheese instead of ranch since theyask which you prefer. The wings were decent size and what you would expect when ordering wings. The drinks were really good too.He mixed both of our drinks with just enough alcohol that they were strong, but not overpowering in taste. If you're lookingfor maybe a more low-key spot in Center City for some standard drinks & eats, this could be a good option. Read more
Great staff and good food! It's not too big inside of this pretty popular pizza bar and grill. It fills up fast on the weekends... and even the daily lunch rush packs the house! The bartenders are super dope (cool) and very accommodating! Securitykeeps everything intact by strolling around the place chatting with employees and customers. It's a great place to hangout andkill some time or link up with your friends for a great night out! Read more
Ordered a pizza via Slice App and it was really strange. One side of the pizza was really undercooked, which isn't necessarily a... terrible thing since some people prefer their pizza cooked a little lighter, but the other side was so overdone that the saucewas black and burned to the crust which was really unappetizing. Hopefully it?s just a one-off because this place has goodreviews and is close to my work but it was really off-putting, so much so that no one really wanted to eat it after seeing howpoorly it was cooked. UPDATE: After speaking with the owner they provided a replacement which was absolutely perfect. I can seewhy all of the good reviews. I would highly recommend ordering from here!! Read more
After the eagles game ended it was a nightmare to get an uber on the street so we hopped in the subway just to get out of there... and we got off in downtown. We asked a local man for a good place to have a good steak sandwich and he said Giovanni. We werenot disappointed. Service was great food was good. Awesome place to have some drinks too Read more
Met the owner and he made our experience unbelievable!! Pizza was fantastic and came back in to check out the cheesesteak. Both... were phenomenal. Would definitely come here again!
