Great food and service, really hope they expand out of Philly to the DC area. Just awesome.

Ordered a plain donut to go with the great cup of coffee I just got in Whole Foods. Paid and even added a dollar tip. Told to... wait a few minutes. While I was waiting there was a shift change. Waited while other customers were waited on. Asked for mydonut and was told the employee knew nothing about it. Got the sad looking item a minute or two later. Usually like theirdonuts. I tried soaking up the excess grease with a few napkins and ended up tossing it. If I had eaten it I would have tossedit another way. Read more

My sister had Federal Donuts delivered for my birthday and I was super excited because I hadn't tried them yet. They travel... really well because of the way that they are glazed. This box was made up of fancy varieties: Cannoli, Chocolate Toffee,Blueberry Lemon, Peach Marshmallow, Banana Nutella, and some chocolate thing I couldn't figure out. they were all delicious butI am looking forward to trying some of their more basic flavors. Cake donuts! Yum!!! The hot ones melted in my mouth. I really enjoyed the strawberry lavender one. The fancy donuts were soft... and fresh. The special rose lemonade was my favorite. Read more

I actually had a bad first experience with the federal donuts on Samson street, but this made up for it!! You MUST get the... chicken sandwich!! And of course the donuts ;) But the chicken sandwich blew my mind and I wanted 5 more. The best thing aboutthe federal donuts in Whole Foods is that they sell beer and you can drink it in the Whole Foods! So it's almost like a B.Y.O.Bspot! We love coming here! Read more
