Reviews for Falafel time in Philadelphia, PA
I've been to this place a few times and the food is pretty good. Large portions for cheap. However, I got food poisoning from my... last visit, which is a bit of a downer considering it's a great spot otherwise. Read more

Another sad story of pandemic, lower quality, and insanely higher prices. My chicken sandwich was inedible, and as others... stated, prices are not update on their menu, with a rude owner, although I'll take rude if the food is good. Worth going toSahara Grill instead. Read more
Very unethical business practice, they did not tell me that the menu prices were "wrong" and then charged me 31% more than the... stated prices, demanding cash, despite no clear evidence that they do not take credit cards. They are effectively robbing peoplewho, by ordering the food at a stated price, did not agree to pay a higher price. Take your business somewhere else, I recommendSaad's Halal if you want this style of cuisine. Read more

We were on our way to have lunch somewhere else and drove by. We knew we had to stop to eat here instead. Everything was... absolutely delicious. And I appreciated how quickly the guys behind the counter took the order and were able to acceptmodifications. Bring cash. Their falafel is seriously the BEST I've had in the US (lived in Canada and the BEST falafel there isfrom Mr Barakat in London, ON). If you ask they'll add toum (garlic sauce). The rice, the salad, the pickled turnips. Everythingwas divine. Great place to eat and I can't wait to go back. Also, their baklava is pretty tasty too. Read more
This is absolutely the best falafel in all of Philadelphia. Located on the 2200 block of South Street on the southside of the... block. Family run business. Same two gentlemen preparing the food every time I go. The big difference between this place andothers is that everything is made fresh ALWAYS, and you can taste the difference. We normally order 2 falafel sandwiches, lentilsoup with a side of rice, and hummus with an extra pita, as well as a drink for myself and one for my lady (see photos). Drinkselection includes most of your favorites as well as some imported drinks to discover. Believe it or not for all of the foodthat I mentioned the bill is always about $30. The same order would cost closer to $50 or more at all the "competition" in thearea. I Love that it's family run. The same two guys put the same amount of love and care into every order. Not prepared by some stranger with something they'd rather be doing than work. In my opinion this is the absolute best place you can try forfalafel, hummus and many other delicious treats. Expect to be handed some baccala while you wait. Also extremely delicious.Flaky and bursting with textures and flavors. This place gets a perfect score. 10 out of 10. Read more
