I visited this restaurant for the first time last week. We came for the birria tacos of course. Birria is one of my favorite... recipes to make and having made it so many times, I definitely know how to spot the authenticity of the ingredients and I mustsay, they were top tier! I forget my server’s name but he reminded me of Lil Yachty. He was so nice and attentive. He didn’teven need to write our order down. And normally when servers do that, they mess something up, but not this guy. He was great andour tip to him definitely reflected. I also ordered a strawberry margarita and one of the options was spicy, so I had a spicystrawberry margarita, two orders of fresh horchata, and flan for dessert! Everything was chef’s kiss! Definitely returning. Read more

I brought out of town visitors here after reading glowing reviews. Have to be honest-it was just okay! The service was okay and... the food was fine, but nothing spectacular. It was described as extremely authentic, but I didn't get the depth of flavor I wasexpecting. Just very average Mexican fare. One standout was the cocktails-Mexcal Mule was delicious! Read more

MUST TRY. birrata is made beef shoulders braised over time and dipped in this beautiful thick savory sauce. It's not on menu and... it's new. It is so darn good. The sopes, nachos, the tacos.. you have to try it all. We had great service and the food is justperfect! Read more

A great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Probably some of the best burritos in the city and they're huge so you really get your... money's worth. Stopped by the bar a couple times and it's usually been a good experience, drink selection is good and they havea variety of tequilas and some mezcals. Read more

A new favorite of ours. It is a Tex-Mex American style Mexican restaurant, which is maybe why others coming here expecting... authentic style Mexican cuisine would be let down. We stopped by for lunch and had a great experience and I'm confused why morepeople aren't enjoying this great restaurant. The vibes and atmosphere are fun and well designed. The drinks were plentystrong and very good. All of our food was tasty with good seasoning. We ordered the chips and salsa and they were great, theonly downside here is we didn't get a refill on the chips and there was a ton of salsa left. I ordered chicken enchiladas andthey are some of the best I've had in Philly, with a huge portion size including the sides. Everyone at our lunch was thrilledwith the service, and our waiter was extremely nice and polite. He definitely made the experience even better. Read more

Visiting Philly on a business/family trip and was hungry for Mexican food. And, this place hit the spot. Reminds me of Mexican... food in San Diego!!! We ordered a wet green burrito, asada burrito, shrimp quesadilla, and two (cheese & regular) flans for takeout. Everything was delicious. Our kids loved their quesadilla and I devoured the wet burrito!!! No pics because there's likenothing left. Lols. My husband also said his steak burrito was good. Flan was yummy too! They forgot our horchata and my husbandhad to go back for it. So, they gave us another one for free. Thank you for the food and the excellent customer service! Willtry to come back when we are in town again. Read more

After traveling all day to Philly, I was looking for some comfort food and this definitely hit the spot. I ordered the tacos Al... Pastor and a Carnitas wet Burrito, with an horchata to drink. All were delicious and a good portion size. Being from soCal Iusually temper my expectations when tasting Mexican food in other states and the tacos were the highlight of the meal. Thesauce on the burrito tasted like Tres Palmas, but the filling was great. Read more
