Being very careful when ordering food from them, they will OVER-CHARGE you! Last week I was there to order four dish, the total... is $34, and they charged $40! While I asked them how they calculated, they seem to be well prepared for giving out excuse! Theyimmediately pointed out they forgot to update the menu, and they took out another menu under table to show me that the pricesare higher. The food is also terrible. The food was very delicious. Me and my party of 5 sat down and was waited on immediately. I ordered general toas shrimp fried... rice and wontons. My bill was $60 ????. Big problem I had was when we were finished eating one of the workers kept demading atip. "This just bill for food not tip" "you leaving tip" tip tip tip. she didn't even give me a chance. I have been coming to Philadelphia regularly and I try to go to different restaurants just to explore. BUT this is one of two... restaurants I always have to go to. The flavor of the food is so good no matter what you order! I have seen reviews about theservice but I always have the same lady who is probably an owner. There is a language barrier, but it is also cultural. She isso quiet but will talk. Best place I have eaten for this type of restaurant in Chinatown. Read more

Not Delightful but DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL! I was at the PA Conversation Center and went to have a quick lunch in Chinatown. I... saw a big sign in front of Delightful Garden showing a list of dishes with "lunch special $6.95" at the end of the list. I askedthe lady about the specials and ordered one from that list. The dish came fairly quickly and was served in a fairly small plate(clearly a lunch portion), but the bill came out $17.23 (with tax). I asked why was that much since she knew I ordered fromtheir lunch special list, and her answer was, fasten your seat belt, $6.95 is for lunch specials but the dishes above were notlunch specials.
