I've been trying to get here a few years lol and either I came to early (they weren't open yet) or Im never in the area.... FINALLY- I rode by and had a chance to stop in between lyft rides. I called and ordered Baby Back Ribs and when I got there itwas better than I expected. Beautiful lights and nice decor around the wooded furniture. It was so cute. Brody, who checked meout, was super helpful and very kind. I literally ate all of the ribs before I even got home. I pulled them apart off of thebone WITH just TWO FINGERS while I was driving lol I can't wait to go back when I'm dressed and have a good meal with a fewdrinks. I can't believe I took this long ???? Everything we had was outstanding. Deke?s ribs, potato wedges, fat dude sandwich, Potato salad beans, coleslaw, bourbon.

Been coming here infrequently over the past few years. Starting out this was a solid place. Food was reasonably priced, quick to... make and decent. As time went on a chicken tender platter went from 4 tenders and potato wedges DOWN TO 2 tenders and potatowedges. This was a takeout order, drinking at a neighbor establishment. Maybe it was an error on the cooks. Shells and cheeseneed a revamp; cheese coagulation, taste, mouth feel have decreased. I criticize this because I want this restaurant tosucceed. They have cut corners, possibly only for take out orders, and their quality and reputation has been sliding. Read more

The meat is delicious their sides and salads aren't as good. The sloppy doc is amazing. But take their wedge salad for example.... A wedge salad is a wedge of iceberg lettuce not a plastic bin full of cut up romaine lettuce. Would go again. Brining my ownwedge salad. Read more

The food was good! I had the wings. You could tell they were smoked, the skin had a nice snap to them. Also had the texas mud... loaded wedges with brisket. It was great. They didn't have any ribs. Place had a nice atmosphere. Will be back. Hopefullythey'll have ribs! Read more

Deke's has been a favorite of mine for several years. I was going to their small site on Ridge Avenue until late this Summer.... Now I can enjoy the indoor/ outdoor industrial atmosphere of the Berkeley Avenue site at Wayne Junction. The space is large andsafety precautions are in place. Their ribs are always tender, well-flavored and meaty. My only feedback is to change thepotato salad recipe and heighten your corn bread (it's a little flat)... The mac 'n cheese is good though.
