My lady and I went to Cray in ole city. The service and the food was fantastic. Our waitress Mia paid attention to every little... detail. We had so much fun I told my lady I would buy another entrée just to sit there for another hour. Dot the DJ wasplaying some great music. And I got to meet Mom she was so nice. And what... about no toppings on my waffle was hard to do, I don?t like soggy bread.This is about to be the worst breakfast because someonecannot read simple instructions. I don't instantly write 1 star reviews but this is my 2nd bad experience w the the 7th st location. 1st time was lunch, I got... the jerk shrimp fried rice. Doused w jerk sauce and I wasn't able to eat it. Tried breakfast...horrible!!! Home fries were mushyand greasy. Stuffed french toast had 2 peaches and was just overall nasty. We came here for Sunday brunch with a large party for a birthday. We were skeptical due to the reviews however we were seated... promptly and served the most part excellent food. The food ranged from chicken and waffles, Red snapper, fish and grits, toRasta pasta. Everything was flavorful and complemented by the accompanying sides. The price per plate was generous. Cray tatse is a delight. Hands down if any breakfast store deserves a 5 star they are it. The food and presentation is amazing... and delicious but the secret is in the sauce. My fave thing to order is the steak and eggs platter the gravy sauce used is sooogood. I also love to order the salmon cakes and grits and the chicken and waffles. The gentleman who presents the orders is kindhas great customer service and always makes sure to communicate effectively and politely the lady who takes the orders alwaysgreets me with a smile.
