This is a tight corner restaurant that promotes big flavors for those who have even bigger appetites. When the weather is... warmer, sitting in the newly added outdoor shipping container sitting area provides a great El Fresca vibe. The traffic buzzesby but you're too busy enjoying a fantabulous meal with someone who deserved your company. Read more

Recently remolded dining room which looks incredible. The service is always spot on, the wine selection is massive, the... cocktails are top shelf and the food is always delicious. Great bar atmosphere with Philly's best bartenders. The owner Beth, isalways on hand overseeing every aspect. They do chicken cutlets better then anyone else and they're salads are too die for. Very pleasant neighborhood place with a nice menu. My only complaint is that the branzino, which was perfectly cooked, needed a... little salt. And there was/is no salt and pepper on any of the tables (at least that night) which, to me, is a sillyaffectation. Come on, any fish dish can be a little bland and can benefit from a little salt. If I come there again I mightbring my own. Read more

i will never return we had a party of 5 and water was never served with ice, dressing for salad brought towards the end of the... meal then to top it off one main course came after everyone else finished their meals. a complimentary drink wasn't enough toleave a good impressing we dined last night at 6:30 two people ordered caesar salads that were soaked with the dressing andmeatball starters. one person ordered a pasta dish, i had mussels in white wine which were very small and the sauce wastasteless, i also had the arugula salad which was ordinary. the main dish that was served far too late was the bronzino. we alsohad two wines and a cocktail. i feel badly having to share this bad experience but hopefully you can improve Read more

This review is way overdue. I actually prefer to eat at home vs. in restaurants, but Cotoletta is the exception. Their food is... really, really solid, the vibe is chill, and the location is perfect. I love that they have trendy IPAs on tap, but alsoBudweiser in a bottle. Their veal piccata is to die for, and to be fair I’ve never had a bad meal there. The location acrossfrom Fitler Square Park is a nice touch of ambience. And the staff is always friendly to boot. Was just there tonight, alreadycan’t wait to go back. Highly recommended. Read more

Aren’t we lucky! My wife and I live just a few blocks away from Cotoletta and are so pleased that we have a first class... restaurant so near. The location is perfect, just across from the beautiful Fitler Square. But most of all the food wasabsolutely delicious. Some of our choices were based on the recommendations of our world-class waiter, Peter, who knew how todescribe the courses in such a way that not only our experienced tastes were pleased but one of us with sensitive digestiveissues was given just the attention she needed. I usually ask for a wine recommendation. It was just the right match and aalthough only a single glass. With guests I’d love to try one of their bottles based on this experience. We weren’t surewhether we had room for dessert, but we’re encouraged to think about one in particular. So we shared one. It was light anddelicious - perfect finish to a memorable dinner. Read more

So far I’ve been in 3x in the last month or so they’ve been open, once for a drink and snack, once for dinner and once for... takeout. Starting with my first visit for a snack and drink I was pleasantly surprised at the space and how they fit all theydid into the small space but they did and I was very comfortable sitting at the bar. The bartender was great and was friendly, engaging and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. The drinks and snacks were excellent, the meatballs were moist, flavorful anddefinitely homemade as with the sauce and the stuffed long hots were some of the best I’ve ever had. My second visit fordinner was equally if not more pleasant than my first visit. The server was great as were the drinks! Before I get into the foodI’ll preface this by saying that Chicken Parm is what I’d pick if i could only eat one thing the rest of my life. And I feelI have perfected making “my perfect chicken parmigiana” at home so I am quite harsh at judging others CP. I told the serverit was my favorite food and asked if they thought I should order it or opt for something else and they said hands down to orderit and I did. Was it as good as mine, well, no but It was damn good and for the huge portion you are served I couldn’t believeI ate almost the entire thing! I liked it so much that I recently went in for a takeout CP and granted that it was takeout itjust didn’t live up to what I had when dining there. Which I didn’t expect it to be since it has to forego a trip trappedinside plastic containers and a scooter ride before being eaten but the chicken was definitely over cooked and under sauced(which I get if they were trying to ensure the chickens breading didn’t get soggy but if that is the case then include a smallside of sauce). The takeout order included the chicken parm in one container and the pasta in a separate container but noutensils, napkins or condiments and I’ve just always been of the mindset that if you are going to accept a takeout order th Read more
