I haven't had a chance to have the full dining experience here, just takeout, but the arugula salad and lemon pasta were both... outstanding. Also, I had asked about a different pasta dish being spicy, and the person who took my order wasn't sure. Themanager called back to make sure I knew it was and suggested alternatives, which I appreciated. I hope to be back for a fullsit-down dinner in the future. Read more

It's true, I've only been to one other restaurant in the era of Covid. But I'm a foodie & former chef so I speak from... experience. This was a perfect dining event. Joe & Angela are incredible, down-to-earth hosts. In an uncivilized world, go herefor the most civilized night of your short life! Read more

Cicala at the Divine Lorraine is a beautiful restaurant. We went on a Wednesday and had the entire restaurant to ourselves.... While we had our vaccination cards/ID ready, we were never asked per the new city mandate. The food really was amazing, except… …we had fruit flies swarming our table all night (they said they had “just sprayed” but they were back) …thefritto misto antipasto didn’t have half the items listed on the menu, the batter was unflavored and fat too thick. By the end,the thick rich sauce made the fried pieces limp and soggy (not to mention the sardines they added were still bone-in) …theduck secondi was two pieces of duck (which was perfectly cooked, mind you) but NOT worth $43 (you should have received fourpieces for that amount) While the restaurant was beautiful and the dishes each better than the last, the price and amount offood will not make us return customers. Really awesome dinner at Cicala. First highlights are the cocktails, all of which were phenomenal. Appetizers including the... Salumi board and the fall caprese were really good. Pasta is obviously a key player here - the crepes, tortelle and gnocchi wereall killer. Duck entree was really good, though the sides were probably the weakest component of the whole meal. All in all, will be back! Read more

Fabulous! With the restaurant entrance just south of the entrance to the amazing Divine Lorraine, Cicala does not disappoint.... The restaurant is spacious, artfully decorated - paying homage to it's historic architecture. The waitstaff was impressive andattentive. I can't begin to rave about the food. From the soft assortment of bread with the perfectly crispy crust, theperfectly apportioned appetizers to the authentic fresh pizza, it was perfect. We sat outside, in the gated side patio underlarge umbrellas. The only drawback was the challenging nearby intersection where eager travellers and motorcyclists honked orraced along Ridge Avenue. Where can I begin? From the moment you walk in this place is beautiful. It’s cozy and intimate. The staffs greetings are warm... and welcoming. A friend and I were able to sit in the lovely booths. We got a bottle of wine followed by an app, pizza, twopasta dishes and dessert. Words cannot describe what an incredible experience I had. I will recommending this place to everyone! Read more

Enjoyed my dinner here and they are very reasonable. I didn’t really enjoy my desert, it needed more flavor in my opinion. My... waiter was also extremely helpful. Read more
