We were in the area today and decided to pop in for lunch. This place is unassuming from the outside, but nicely done inside, ... somewhat of a old-school neighborhood tavern. The bartender(proprietor?) was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Wegot the roast beef sandwiches, thinly sliced on a nice bun, very tender and flavorful. I came here for the first time tonight, the staff was incredibly kind and the food was incredible. The menu is super simple and... written on a board. My friends and I came after sips so we just got food to help us sober up but we will be back for drinksagain soon as well as to try even more of the menu. The perfect neighborhood bar. The interior is welcoming and cozy. Both bartenders were incredibly kind. I saw a few of the roast... beef sandwiches being prepared and they looked delicious. Had a really great time here and will surely be back. Edit: Did comeback here after celebrating my birthday at the Mütter Museum and my initial review was correct. This place is the best.
