Casa Mexico is an excellent restaurant that I definitely recommend folks check out. My mom and I went here for lunch one day and... I've passed by this place a number of times and haven't made the time to go in. I'm definitely glad that we came by that timeand I got to see what I was missing out on. They have a lot of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. The service wasvery good as was the food. Came to Taylorsville from Ohio to visit family. Read reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. SO glad we did! The... service was great, margs were on point (and they offer top shelf tequila!). Food was the best Mexican we have had in a longtime. Far better than places in our hometown. Will return when we visit family again. Read more
I had a great lunch at Casa Mexico. The outdoor seating area is nice. Completely closed off from traffic. I just ordered a set... of four tacos, 2 grilled steak and 2 shrimp. ( ate one before I took a picture) they were delicious! I am looking forward to areturn trip to try some of the other yummy looking dishes. Read more

Service was eh and there were a ton of flies in the outdoor seating area. We ordered the guacamole, mole verde, and two steak /... two carnitas tacos. The guacamole was pretty good. The mole verde was ok, nothing special. The steak tacos were utterly terribleand the carnitas ones were fine but extremely fatty. Based on the other reviews, maybe we just caught them on a bad day (we ateon Monday) but our experience was pretty poor. If you come expecting a restaurant version of South Philly Barbacoa (which isphenomenal) you may be disappointed. Read more
A trip to Mexico - Casa Mexico that is!! Just south of the Italian Market near the justly famous South Philly Barbacoa, owned by... the same chef, the super-talented Christina Martinez. Same quality as the best of Mexico City: the chips with mole were superb,and the crunchy fish tacos were to die for. Yummm! Read more
