We love Cake and now love it even more! We recently wound up there after waiting an hour for a breakfast that never came at... Breakfast Boutique (we left, something we've literally never done before!). Cake would have been our first choice, but we werehungry and expected a wait (understandable, given the quality of their food and their excellent service). After the badexperience at the Boutique, we made our way to Cake, both of us weak with hunger (not exaggerating - our blood sugar hadplummeted). Fortunately, our timing was perfect and we were seated quickly. The waitstaff at Cake is extremely professional; wehave never had a long wait for our food at Cake, so waiting for a table is well worth it. And their food is EXCELLENT! Myfavorite is the breakfast burrito. I also usually share the fruit bowl with my husband as a starter; it is always fresh and alovely seasonal variety. Love, love, love Cake! Read more
This was a nice place with a chill ambiance. I was torn between the Salmon BLT and the Sirloin bacon burger but decided to go... with the burger and was not disappointed. The waitress was awesome and it?s BYOB btw! We will be back for brunch. Read more

Amazing restaurant! The environment is pleasant and cozy. Seated in a greenhouse with pleasant decor, super cozy. Food is... terrific! I had an open face turkey sandwich that had fig and Brie. The food here was delicious. Hot and freshly made. The restaurant's atmosphere is really cool and feels very cozy. They have... some delicious pastries you can get to go as well as coffee. We will definitely make this a regular place to go for brunch. Read more
Had a breakfast burrito it was good, very filling. Just needed a little more Mexican seasoning. Service was good, wait staff was... very pleasant. The menu isn?t large, so there?s not a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is very quaint. I also purchased aslice of lemon cake for later. It was good just needed a little more lemon flavoring. This a great place to go if your in the Chestnut Hill area. I?ve been here a few different times, and it hasn?t disappointed... yet. The food is always delish and the customer service was great. You do have to order al la carte, but it?s worth it. Onlydownside is the space. The area is compact but I love that it?s in the back of a florist. A good place if you?re dining solo orwith a group.
