9/22/22 went here for our anniversary dinner, and as always, the food and service was perfect. We shared the mini tacos special... and they were delicious! One was refried beans, one was potato, one was chicken and one pork. I had the sabana, which is athin steak with refried beans and cheese. My husband had the shrimp and we shared dessert. Everything was perfect. I alwayssaid they should bottle their tamarind margherita, it's so very good. I highly recommend Blue Corn, it's truly one of myfavorite restaurants. The food is made to order, presented beautifully and is delicious! Thank you! We went on Christmas Eve, early afternoon, and sat outside. The food is just as good as it always has been. Safetyprotocols are being followed and our servers were really nice. I have not found a tamarind margarita as good as Blue Corns. It's absolutely delicious! My husband had the lamb special, my son the sabana, my daughter the ceviche and I had the bluetaco's. Delicious and presented beautifully! Thank you, Blue Corn, for our delicious meal! 12/26/20 We recently went to BlueCorn to celebrate our daughter's birthday. I have to say the bartender makes really flavorful cocktails. I had the tamarindMargherita, and it was awesome. We now have to add Blue Corn as a place to get delicious chicken nachos. They were so verygood! I had the Sabana, which is a thin, flavorful steak, my daughter had the Cubano, which could literally feed 3 to 4people...the sandwich was awesome. Blue Corn - Drool Warnings! This has been on my hit list for a few years now since I'm rarely in South Philly. Don't let the... kitschy WAY-over decorated seasonal decor scare you. ???? It was a combo of St Patrick Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas andCinco De Mayo. It did make the place look kind of tacky but extra pieces of tinsel are not going to stop margaritas and tacosgetting into my belly. ???????? They have a fairly extensive menu for lunch and I was quite tempted by the sea bass ceviche (butdidn't order it). I got the Passion Fruit margarita .... when it comes with a chili salt rim you know you it is going to beoutstanding! I got the braised chicken pibil tacos.... expertly seasoned and love how there were all kinds of veggieaccompaniments like cucumbers, grilled spring onion and pickled chilies.???? This place is great! My friend and I came here on a busy Saturday afternoon while strolling the Italian market. They had seats... available right outside, not too close to the crowd. I had an excellent experience dining at Blue Corn. The service was good, fast and very professional. We tried an array of... dishes, that all came at the same time. The blue corn tacos and the tacos pibil were flavorful and complex, maybe missing a bitof salt but that's the only fault I can find. Their prices are very good for the quality of food they are offering and I wouldsurely visit again to try more from their menu. Read more

Chorizo Sopecitos (3 per order) $14 small soft shell thick tortillas topped with refried beans, cheese, and sourcream. Good portion size. Really good. Would get this again.
