This was literally a waste of money. I had this at Linvilla Orchards after waiting in line for over 40 mins I ordered the Beef... brisket and BBQ chicken. The beef brisket was inedible way to much salt. The Mac and cheese was ok, the collard greens weresalty as well. The southern slaw was good. FIRST OF ALL The lady taking orders was actually rude. She was braggingabout the brisket? when I tell you that brisket was DISGUSTING, it was so disappointing because my family waited in line forabout 1hr &30 mins to order food. I got my husband a platter of brisket with greens and Mac n cheese. He?s a brisket LOVER andhe took one look at that platter and threw it straight in the trash! Didn?t eat ANY of it. Had at the food festival yesterday after waiting 45mins ran out of sides but still had to pay full price woman taking the orders... was disgustingly rude to paying customer for no reason lacks complete customer service and I wanted to use them for catering butnot with her. I ordered a 1/2 slab of ribs from their food truck today at Eakins Oval during a black festival. I want to make it clear that I... am a white single man that lives in a 99% black neighborhood in W. Philly. I waited 30 minutes for my order and saw AT LEAST ADOZEN ORDERS MADE AFTER MINE GET FILLED. On a chance I tipped which would NEVER have done for this TERRIBLE SERVICE anywhereelse. I would like to think the color of my skin didn't have anything to do with it, but since my ribs were cold when I got themthe only conclusion I can come to my skin. My Mom wanted some BBQ so I ordered a Rib platter for her. She ordered the hot Ribs w/ Mac & cheese & greens for the sides. The... Ribs were good! The sides were bland and not seasoned but you can add your own seasoning... Overall the food is good & worthit, I'd suggest call ahead to order. Read more
Hired Barkley's BBQ for our company event and couldn't be more happier! Food truck showed up and everyone there was super... professional. The food was so delicious that my guests kept talking about it for weeks after. They also keep bugging me to askif they sell bottles of those sauces. Thank you Barkley's for making me look good!! First let me point out that my friend and I waited in line for an hour and a half, followed by more waiting after you placed... your order. The Atmosphere was amazing because it was at the orchard however the bbq was not worth any period of waiting. Thebeans were straight from a can, the Mac and cheese was just ok, the brisket was dry due to it sitting on top of a slice of breadthat soaked up all the juices.
