I ordered 3 chicken sandwiches and a banana cream cake. I got the bag in the drive thru and they forgot to put my banana cream... cake in it. I let them know and they handed it to me. Only go here once every few months. Same thing every time. Very long wait at ordering menu and drive through even if theres one... or two cars in line. We've seen many TV Ads recently on Popeyes Chicken on my Wife said let's try it. We stopped yesterday at the store at 119... Compromise Ct off of Hwy 80 in Phenix City, Ala (next door to Walmart Neighborhood Store). From the moment we walked in the doorit was love ???? at first sight and smell! Every experience I have is different with the exception of when the sweet pregnant lady is working the drive thru window. We eat... here often as it?s not far from home. We live a mile from this Popeyes location so we been here alot. This review is not based on just a one time visit. Every time we... have went there my wife orders the 5 piece tenders, (mild). We have not been there a single time where we did not have to wait,cause they had NONE ready. Usually it's a five minute or longer wait. Tonight was a little different we waited 15 minutes, andthen my wife had to go in to get it. Food was good, but having these wait times are really really an inconvenience. Read more

I love popeyes chicken and was so excited when one was built in ladonia. My excitement was short lived unfortunately because... everytime we put in an online order when we get there to pick it up, the staff hasn't even started to fill the order. In truth,they didn't even know the order was submitted. After waiting 20 minutes the order was thrust at me across the counter in anaggressive manner. I opened the bag to check the order and the biscuits were dark brown an appeared burnt to me. I asked forsome that weren't so dark and the staff argued with me and told me they always look that way because they have to cook 6 minutesand 37 seconds. To say the least I was unimpressed. They did not apologize for the wait and did not thank me for the 24 dollarorder I had given them. We will not be back again. Service was great. Drive thru time wasn't too bad. Everything was fresh. They even put extra pickles on my sandwich per my... request.. The Hottie Sauce is Everything. I love it on my biscuits. Anyway got home ready to rip my box down and the red beansand rice was more rice than beans. It was dry and rice was very undercooked. That's my only complaint for this establishment.I'll see how it goes next visit! UPDATE: Popeye's ought to be shame of they selves!!! Whoever on biscuits need to moved toanother station asap. Biscuits were hard and dry. Chicken was not crispy at all. Spent $30+ for our meal asked for Hottie Sauce,she asked how many and I said 6.
