What an amazing meal at the Local Palate in downtown Phelps! Absolutely delicious Chicken French, accompanied by these amazing... potatoes and vegetables that melted in your mouth! Perfectly divine! It's well themed. This place should be trending in Phelps NY. Ambiance could improve with real house plants, but lunch was a... absolutely delicious. Best lemonade ever, for real. They had a pepper jack cheese in their grocery section that is... amazing. Isaw nuts and berries and everything looked delicious and possibly healthy. Fleetwood Mac was on the radio. Effective wait staffboth in the dining area and in the grocery/ checkout area. It's spacious and comfortable. Lots of variety on the menu. Quaintwine bar, live music advertised. Great little cafe, and a small market place. The food is locally sourced as much as possible, and was delicious, especially the... cauliflower soup. The menu is not large, but every thing on it is appealing. They have a small selection of wines, a largeselection of craft beers (most in cans, some on tap), specialty drinks and strong coffee. This Cafe is incredible from the holistic welcoming bright atmosphere to the friendly staff. Lots of gluten-free and plant based... items in the grocery section along with a nice variety of coffee options and freshly made salt bread ???? which is absolutelydelicious?. The cafe offers spectacular breakfast and lunch options and the service is spot on, lots of beverage options aswell. Will definitely come back the next time I am in town. This is a great place to experience good deli food and occasionally some nice music. Im hoping they will add a chef for more... dinner choices. There is a nice assortment of drinks , although mostly serve yourself from the deli case most of the time,however i have been here when the service was exceptional as well as a good dinner menu.
