Very irresponsible and not customer friendly location unlike other locations. The first time it happened I took it as a simple... careless incident without consequence but upon our second time visiting with the family my daughter placed her beverage orderwhich included a dairy substitution unfortunately someone decided to be cute behind the counter with the labels provoking a foodallergy. Every time I go to Gloria Jean's Coffees, I enjoy my drink. It's worth the drive I have to go. Whether it is coffee or tea (hot... or iced). I also like their blueberry muffins, especially with their sugar topping. There is a coffee place closer, but I wouldrather go that extra distance to Gloria Jean's (Pharr location) for my coffee. The last few times I've come I find pieces of chocolate chips inside my iced coffee. However, this time the chocolate chips were... inside the iced teas. How can this happen? They're iced TEAS. My family and I are lactose intolerant! The chocolate chips aremade of milk chocolate I believe. I?ve noticed they mix all the drinks with the same untensils which is probably how they getinside the drink. It?s 2021 and many people have allergies let alone cross contamination is very likely to happen. I ask foralmond milk on my iced coffee and the last 3 times I?ve gone, I get an upset stomach shortly after. Non dairy drinks should NOTbe mixed or let alone any of the drinks. This can prevent cross contamination!! Cross contamination is definitely preventable!!I hope they can work on this because I love supporting LOCAL and I enjoy their coffee but management needs better training orjust no mixing at all. Also the menu says large cups are 32 oz but the cups are 28 oz and the price remains the same. Read more
Small convenience coffee shop with a drive-thru concept. The store was clean, organized, and appealing inside and out. Their... service was excellent. I asked them to varry their normal coffee making procedure to tenure it to my personal coffee palate andthey did so gracefully. Thank you! Keep up the good work! Read more
I went to Gloria Jeans located in Pharr, right off the service road between Polk and Jackson. I wanted a tall cup of coffee so I... thought I'd go in instead of waiting in the drive thru line. Upon entering I was pleasantly greeted, there was no line and Iordered my coffee with cream and Splenda. I thought the coffee was OK, but this is no Starbucks, however, the price was better.Gloria Jeans offers more than coffee, they too do teas as well. Will I go back again ? Ordered an iced cofee with cinnamon, hated it so I asked if I could exchange it. They said because it was custom made (the... sprinkle of cinnamon) they couldn't change it out so I had to order a whole new coffee. This used to be my favorite coffee placebut because of this experiance I am never coming here again. Read more
