I went to Zaxby's on 685 in Plugerville, TX. I always pass it and say I want to try it out, so I did. I order the the... traditional 5pcd wings with Hot Honey Mustard sauce & a Coke, spent 11$ and some change (meal)fries & Texas toast. Great deal!!!Very appealing to the eyes and that where it ends. The wings were so cold the skin was tough, the fries were luke warm, toastwas cold as well, but good and I received ranch dipping sauce instead of what I requested. The best thing was the Coke (I preferPepsi ????). I will give them another try, it may have been an off day/time, but my first impression was not good, ending on apositive, the pricing is very reasonable and the drive thru customer service was good. Was not the best tasting for me and my spouses flavor pallette. The buffalo sauce had a weird taste to it, we were not a big fan... of the flavor. Our food was warm when received and not the hottest so once home it was cold. That's with being close by not along drive. Our sauces were buried under all the chicken so we had to take the food out our containers to reach the sauces underour food. Instead of being put on top. If I could give zero stars I would and I didn't even get dinner. I pull up and was told there would be a wait, I say totally... fine we are not in a rush at all. We decided want we wanted but was told again that there would be a wait. Could not be toolong, right?? 20 minutes. Ok I'm cool with that, no worries I understand they are short staffed. I was told again that therewould be a wait, fine let's do this. My kiddo said momma it sounds like they don't want customers. I asked about using 2coupons, didn't know if I could or not. One lady that was not on the headset or whatever they use YELLED NO, with such ahateful attitude. My kids and I are like nope we will not be yelled at for asking a question. I try to leave the drive thrubut could not due to people in front of me. So I let the cars behind know what was going on and we all proceeded to back out. Afew others pulled in as we were attempting to back out of that crazy drive. What got me was when a kid came out yelling that Ihad to stay in line and pull forward, that I was not allowed to back up and that he was the manager and would call the cops onme. First off, yes I did yell back a few inappropriate things and I apologize but for him to yell at me when I have my two kidsin the car and make threats is unacceptable. I will never go back to that location. If you're so short staffed that the fewemployees that do show are going to treat people like that then you need to close up and start with a fresh crew.
