I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews and pictures but we were so let down. We ordered a medium za, and some... garlic zapalletis? The GZs were really tasty, albeit slightly undercooked. They're better when they have a bit of crunch on theoutside. Still fantastic. The pizza was unbelievably blarrgh. We struggled finding the pizza section online so we "made ourown". I was disappointed to see a lack of garlic. Either way, we picked up and when we opened the box, we noticed the sauce wason top of all the ingredients. We thought, "weird, maybe this is their style?" But if I didn't know any better I'd say theyforgot to add sauce where it's supposed to be. But when we ate it, it barely had any toppings and the pizza itself had SO MUCHthick dough. I felt like I was just eating dough. It was really dry. Based on this "blarrgh" doughy pizza, we won't be back. Read more
The cheeseburger pizza was spectacular. Friendly service, quick turnaround after a walk in order. Will definitely be back!
Ordered over phone, as on their website you cannot see/read half of the info about the food and can add it in your order. I got... delivery and ordered wings with honey garlic on the side, as well as ranch, zapoles (deep fried garlic parmesan bites) andcinnamon zaploes with extra sweet sauce. I didn't get ANY honey garlic sauce, or ranch so my wings were dry and plain. I openmy cinnamon zapoles to find my first sweet sauce spilled all over and soaked into the box. So I eat my dry wings and garlicbites and move back to the zapoles thinking good thing they actually got that one right and put the second sauce in there andtake a huge dip and bite to discover it was ranch instead of sweet sauce in the box. So I then had dry cinnamon bites as well. Overall not very impressed as I also had to re explain my order more then once when ordering. Read more
I hired Wise Guys Inc for my late lunch at my wedding recently, and John blew us away with his food and customer service. I have... had Wise Guys hundreds of times before so I knew I was in the right hands when I picked them for my late lunch. The pizza washot and delicious (going from Petrolia to Arkona - so great job at keeping the food hot!!) John stayed around and talked to mydad and a few guests to ensure all was good and everyone was enjoying the pizza. John truly goes above and beyond for hiscustomers. * Also - if you haven't tried his "Johnny Knots" yet... DO IT. you are missing out. So delicious. Read more
This review is long over due. Would of done one earlier but I kept ordering their pizza to try again. Well consume in mass... quantities. Great food. Friendly owner. Well I think he is. If he was really looking out for my best interests he would have anintervention for me. Delivery guy once showed up with random pizza because they were worried. Love this place. Read more
There are two reasons I'm willing to pay top dollar for my pizza: 1. It's delicious 2. It's convenient and fast Since I live a... stone's throw away from Wise Guys, those two criteria are met in spades. When they got the order wrong on my mozzarella sticks,they gave me 2 more free of charge. I give this 4 out 5 simply because although the food is great, and they are always on time,the price is significantly higher than almost any other pizza place I've been to, in or out of Petrolia. If I'm asked where Igo for pizza in Petrolia, I always say Wise Guys (best taste), but I always mention the price. Read more
Got our 4 topping medium pizza well done, so delicious! The deep fried pickles were great. The jalapeno poppers were a bit... obviously from frozen, but not bad. Overall very impressed, would highly recommend! Great value too. Read more
We have NEVER been disappointed by our experience or food with Wise Guys. When we end up disappointed elsewhere, we turn to... Wise Guys to fill the void and if never fails. If you aren?t sure what to get, get the Zeppole. There is no way it candisappoint. Normally it?s consumed before we even get home(drive being around 20 minutes.)
