This place is a hidden gem! If you're in the area to hike the Saguenay Fjord National Park, I would highly recommend staying... here! My husband and I stayed here while doing some hiking in the park. The owners are lovely and very knowledgeable about thearea and various travel routes. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the garden is lush and green. The only issuewe encountered was staying on the main floor. If you like to sleep past 6:30-7AM I would suggest asking for a room on the secondfloor as we were woken up each morning by the people above us walking (stomping) around and the floors are thin. We stayed here for one night, and found that it was idyllic in its setting. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we had no... qualms. HOWEVER, despite a hospitable check in, we were not treated well. First, we were not sure how the room door locked, andkindly and patiently waited for assistance. To our dismay, we were met with frustration and an unkind response. Secondly, whenwe wanted to check out at 8, and were once again met with fraught looks. We were told that the owner was busy preparing forbreakfast, and she was not friendly in wanting to assist us with a check out. After behaving very decently, with very fewinteractions, and also considering the price of the accommodation, I did not leave we did not have a very pleasant stay.
