Do your self a favour by avoiding the place. Bad food. Vietnamese curry, they served with whole chick paes, what a joke. Never... ever saw that in more than 50 restaurants I visited. Not close to authentic Vietnamese at all. Never coming back. Read more
We loved this place. Their avocado smoothie is proper. Their fried spring rolls are crispy and delicious. We had serious... difficulty choosing what to have, everything looked amazing. Dined in the restaurant for the first time after being frequent take-out customers. We had a great meal and the service was... great! Our experience dining in at Hanoi House on Lansdowne yesterday evening was EXCEPTIONAL- definitely the best Vietnamese food we... have had in a while. Everything was so fresh and flavours so vibrant. Generous portion sizes. We were particularly impressedwith the amount and quality of the proteins on each dish. The lemongrass chicken with rice and broken egg (pictured) was SO.GOOD. BBQ pork vermicelli was also excellent. Vietnamese Lemonade was gorgeous to look at and in taste. You could telleverything was prepared with utmost care, a passion for food, and attention to detail- not just thrown together like yourtypical restaurant. All we could talk about during our meal was how amazing the food was. It is seriously good. Not to mentionthe actual restaurant itself is designed beautifully. Our server Jordan was also incredibly friendly and attentive to usthroughout the entire meal and was the cherry on top of an overall incredibly refreshing dining experience. We recently travelled to Peterborough to visit my daughter and decided to try Hanoi House for lunch. Very very impressed! We... were immediately greeted and seated and offered water and menus. The dining area (and kitchen as it is open concept) is veryclean. We ordered the 4 person meal. Everything came to the table very quickly (within 10 minutes) with proteins piping hotand veggies fresh and crisp . Plenty of food here and very VERY good! Service was amazing too. We were checked on 4-5 timesby our servers to refresh drinks and make sure everything was satisfactory. The young ladies who attended to us were verypolite and friendly - eager to serve.
