The food taste good here service is good They however have limited choices and small servings. They did have the best coffee... but now for 3.00 a regular size cup you get water down coffee. You may only get a bagel Saturday morning and they want 4.60w/butter for just a store bagel not homemade. For just a coffee and bagel you are over 8.00. prices have gotten too high fornothing special. I can go to canastota bagel shop and get bagel with butter for 2.25 and coffee for 2.00. coffee tree hashomemade bagels for 2.50 butter or cream cheese. . Pizza and wings are not good. Ice cream at Zems is the place for ice cream. Pies are very good here though pricey. Read more
This is a great little place in a small village (hamlet). Don't make the mistake my wife and I made by bringing a picnic lunch... with us on our visit to the Gerrit Smith Estate. Instead head right to the General Store for lunch. After our picnic we headedover for ice cream and other goodies. Great people, great service. Read more
