Reviews for Sunny Side Up Breakfast Buffet in Petawawa, ON

I've tried it a few times and the food was never very good. Hollandaise sauce was broken. Potato's were undercooked. Eggs... undercooked. Very greasy Bacon was fine but it's hard to mess up bacon. The patio is nice if only seasonal. Edit: In theirresponse they said they aren't sure how a sauce can break. If you don't know what that means maybe don't open a restaurant. Read more

Stopped in with the kids on their first day of school. Service was excellent and the food was good! Had the meat lovers skillet... and loved it. It's a great little place just off the main road and woth a visit. Would definitely go back. Read more

I decided to try Sunny Side Up Restaurant in Petawawa Today. I have heard some great reviews about this place. My first time was... not great. I placed a take-out order for breakfast, it took 15 minutes to prepare ( which I thought was perfect time ). Iordered the Light Breakfast ( Senior one). Home fries grilled, 1 egg over easy, 2 sausage links, 1 pancake and rye toast. I hada 2 minute ride to my destination and sat down to eat. I had no utensils no napkins no condiments ( butter, syrup), the food wasalso cold. My first impression is not good, but it doesn't mean I won't give them another try. Good food, great service what else is to say of this quaint hidden spot in the heart of Petawawa. We ordered the eggs benedict,... the mexican omelette with fine chopped veggies and the hungry man with 3 types of meat. This is now a must stop spot everytimewe are around. Read more

Finally got to try SunnySide Up and we were not disappointed. We may have waited quite a while for our food as they were slammed... and short staffed, but they did amazingly and the food was worth the wait. The situation was completely understandable and wewere happily patient. Sorry you guys had to deal with some very ?entitled? out of towners, but don?t worry the locals knowwhat?s good. We went there during the lunch rush and it took an hour to get our food. But once the food came it was delicious! The staff were... very nice and very sympathetic.
