This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I can't say that I like their new system of ordering. They have done away with... waitresses yet still ask on the kiosk if we would like to leave a tip. Who would that tip be for? The cook? There are noservers. I know things are getting more and more automated but placing my order on a kiosk and waiting for it to be placed on atray for me to carry it to my table is hardly waitressing. I even buss my own table and put my dirty tray and garbage in theproper areas on the trash can cabinet. Disappointed with today's lack of service to customers. All we are now is money in thetill and a number to call out to pass me my food. Read more
Food was great, place was clean, and workers were friendly. Not a huge fan of the impersonal kiosks.
They have No Employees and instead have a big tablet that takes half of your lunch break just for everyone to get an order for 3... people. The Manager is the one cooking which means they do not want to Pay employees. On top of that, the burger was cold, thefries were cold, and fries so thin you can't even call them French Fries. Not a big fan of the oder yourself kiosk. It's not that the service was bad it's just when you order at a kiosk and throw your... own stuff away there really is no service. The food wasn't bad because I knew what I ordered and where I was at. Read more
I love Steak 'n Shake with all my heart, but this experience was a bit sad. The new digital menu has less food and shake... options, and the shakes we had weren't amazing, just okay. Overall though this location is decent, clean, and quick service. Read more
What happened? Only order and pay on a kiosk. No salads. No option to eat healthy at all as in the past. Used to be great as... both of us were happy with meal options. Burger was more bun than burger, so greasy. ALL dine in tables were dirty. Saw atleast 4 families walk out. Not going back. Read more
Went there because I had a coupon and was thankful we went. We had a great server and the food was hot and fresh. The shakes... were very good and well made. The parking was convenient and plentiful. Read more
Wasn't a big fan at all. Hardly any employees. I had no idea that they switched to a kiosk system and no waitresses. My partner... and I went around 4:00 pm..looked like a bunch of kids taking over the place. Saw one guy wipe his forehead with his arm andproceeded to put gloves on without washing his hands. Steak and shake just isn't what it use to be. Yes it was cheap but itwasn't even that good...it wasn't hot...just warm and I've had better I guess. Honestly I would've went McDonald's or Wendy's...Just wanted a good steak burger and it failed :( the fries aren't even what they use to be ...not a good meal. Verydisappointed. Won't come back. Didn't even see a manager around. If there was...they were young kids and only there to make thebucks and not giving a damn about quality and customer satisfaction. Absolutely horrible....save the money and go somewhereelse. Only thing that was good was the prepackaged Frisco sauce and the fountain Dr. Pepper. Read more
