We've ordered from The Hot Wok a few times while staying in Perth. The food is tasty and fragrant, the portion size and price... seem to be fairly comparable to similar restaurants I visit in Ottawa. We started with some of their house specialties, BangBang Crispy Chicken and Malaysian Chicken Vermicelli, both had interesting flavours and were delicious (we've re-ordered) andtried a few more standards since. Food was good but Hot Wok has lost my business due to greedy, sneaky, selfish behaviour. Last weekend, I ordered 2 combination... plates and the lady on the cash added $10 to the order. I didn't notice until a day and a half later and yes, I should havebeen aware. I can't believe this is happening in out small town. Sad. BE AWARE AND ASK THE TOTAL PRICE ON TAKE OUT ON THEPHONE!!! It's a Vietnamese &Thai restaurant. The food is very fragrant, probably heavy on spices. We loved the food, but the service... was kind of slow, and I was very thirsty after having pho, I suspect they add MSG in the soup. There's no changing table inthe washroom, we asked the staff, she said there's no place for us to change diapers, so it is not the best choice for peoplewith babies to dine here. Read more
