I had been wanting to go here for a long time. Today was the day. It did not disappoint. I had the taco salad. I was very... impressed by the portion size for the price. I ordered it with chicken. Wow, staff went over the fence into the canal water to help locate customer's dropped phone! That's an above and beyond... service. We had witnessed the dedication of the service from one of the waitresses that happened right next to our table. Alady sat beside the canal had unfortunately dropped her phone into the water. Beneath the surface, it was covered by waterplants and algae that basically made it really difficult to know the exact location of any dropped item. The staff initiallycame over to help out with the long handle fishing net, but without much success after some attempts. Later to everyone'ssurprise, she climbed over the fence and dropped down to the canal water, and using the torchlight to get better visibility intothe water. We didn't get a chance to know if she eventually found the lost phone for the customer after we left, but was admiredon her action to help the customer. Although it was around 10°C~12°C, but I can imagine how cold the water can be around fallespecially late in the afternoon. I wish the lost phone was found with a happy ending. We had a chance to visit the beautifultown Perth on the Thanksgiving Monday. After taking a stroll at the near by Steward Park in the afternoon, we were happy tolearn this restaurant was open and there is the patio by the canal with the gorgeous view. We enjoyed the fajita poutine andbaja fish tacos very much. Would definitely recommend this place for visitor to Perth who like to try out the Mexican food. Read more
My first time in Perth. A nice Mexican restaurant, very well located and has amazing service. The food is good, but not the... best. The nachos are a bit overpriced but good. We were 4 people, and 2 of them gave a 5 out of 5, and the other two were 3.5out of 5. The local beer was very nice. Read more
Can?t beat the view! The service was great. Very friendly staff. Our order was promptly taken and the food came out quickly,... despite having a fully packed restaurant. We both ordered different tacos. They were fine - but definitely over-sauced andrunny. Read more
We ordered fajitas for two ($50.00). The restaurant has been here for years but current mgmt really has no idea what Mexican... food is or how to prepare it. Chicken was dry, tough and cold. "Sizzling" cast pan had been warmed up but not used to cookchicken or veg placed on it after having been cooked on a separate pan. Everything was placed separately on top of each otherindicating inauthentic/wrong manner of cooking. We told the waitress who was very pleasant and took the dish back. Ordered asingle steak taco ($8.49) instead so as to not feel too disappointed or ripped off. Very unlikely to return. Best feature is thelocation atop the canal. Food not so much. Our food was just okay. Kids enjoyed their food so for that 5-stars given and friendly service from all staff here. Also the... overall experience to be eating with family on a patio by the water right on the busy road. It's a unique place and thelocation is perfect for dining out with kids. Read more

I am really glad that I gave this Mexican eatery a second chance. A few years ago, I ate at this restaurant and was not... impressed. After avoiding it for a long time whenever I was in Perth, I decided to give it another shot recently during a roadstop, as my family and I were driving back to Ottawa. We were all happy that we stopped here, as we found the food and serviceto be great. I ordered vegetarian fajitas, with veggie chorizo, and a Mexican beer. My wife had enchiladas, while my childrenordered off the kids menu. We all had a great time and found our food tasty, as well as enjoying the several drinks that weordered.
