They took out the comfy dark restaurant feel and turned it into a cheap stand up to order, salt and pepper packet, ketchup... packet squeezing shell of what it used to be. Only reason I gave 3 stars was because the food was still somewhat good. I won'tbe coming back though, so sad! They turned it into their own personal food court and people liked coming here because it wasn'tthe food court. So disappointing! I bet they go out of business soon. Read more

The pork isn't smoked, it's dry and stringy, the best part was the toasted bun, definitely not worth the price. Chicken was ok... at best, sweet potatoes are from a can and not much flavor. Not impressed sorry. Read more

Everytime I eat here since it?s open never had a complaint and I believe you all just started doing Mac and cheese annddd I... don?t like it too runny an the noodles are too mushy ???????????????? But I do have a good recipe for some southern style Macand cheese tho Read more

Really enjoyed our rib tips and brisket! Sides were great too! Tried again and everything was great. We'll be back!

Haven't eaten at this long established restaurant inside Northwoods Mall since it was a set down restaurant with... waitress/waiters to wait on you. The experience was much different then as it is now after the restaurant was reconfigured intoa walk up, order and set down yourself style with plastic silverware, etc. They have a very large menu and have weathered thepandemic ordeal well it seems or they wouldn't have been able to expand and continue in business. I'm sure they have done whatis prudent with what today's customer expects. I'm not a today's customer, but more old school. They continue to be quitepopular in this market and that is very good, since I don't like seeing any business fail. Just isn't proper to want that tohappen. As I've become older I find that BBQ doesn't appeal to me as it once did and even upsets the stomach. I continue to hopethat this condition was short term, but afraid not. This being said I found the BBQ today no different. I found it strange thatthey piled the meat and sauce on the tray and not on the bun. You have to place the meat on the bun yourself. The fries weresome of the best I've had in a long time. Home made and very good. I long for the old style restaurant, but I'm just old andtimes are changing and one has to change or go out of business. Read more

BBQ was off the chain. Highly recommend. Akso in the mall you can walk it off after you done. And even hit the arcade

Their BBQ is truly blessed. The sauce is fire and the pulled pork hits the spot. Sides are good too and the atmosphere/kind... staff really make this place a go-to. UPDATE: their renovations are finally complete! The expansion and extra seating area isnice. The prices are still extremely reasonable and food is tastyyyy. Read more
