Beautiful interior. Well decorated. Love the wall map. Good service and have to give a shout out to the exceptionally clean... restrooms. Had the crane asada bowl which was outstanding, with plantains and guacamole and blood orange margarita. Read more

10/3/22: This place was fantastic. Rare quality of service and food. Our meal was fresh, flavorful and the drinks made to taste... just like their names portray. Also kid friendly with a changing station in the bathroom as well as high chairs for tables. Iwill be coming back for more. Just wish I made more money to afford coming every week. Read more

Tried this for the first time. Beautiful inside. Waited a little no big deal. Sat down, service was great. Ordered the three... taco plate. The Carne asada taco was a lot better than the short rib taco. But honestly, I've had better seasoned tasting tacos. My wife had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. She said it was average. May have to go back and try something else. Menupictures along with food attached to review. Read more

I have to say very happy with this place. I had the Pablano stuffed Steak Picadillo, which was delicious. The sweet reduction... sauce that was on it, compliments it very nicely. Only thing on why I did not give 5 stars was in my opinion the refried beanstasted as if the beans were from a can, not freshly made. Again it's just my opinion but everything else tasted fresh and great.I would definitely be coming back to try other items. Read more

I've heard many good things about Mochilero Kitchen, finally got around to visiting for dinner. Now I'm kicking myself for not... going sooner. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, the flavor profile just works for my palette and I could eat it everyday. They hada really fun with lots of enticing options and I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other things. The cocktail menuwas interesting as well, Stephanie had a Lime Drop and it must be very good because we saw one at almost every table thisevening. We started with guacamole & plantains. The guac was good, could have used some more salt, I still ate most of it,lol. We each had a couple different tacos, the Al Pastor, Carnitas & the Chicken Tinga. They were very good sized and two wasjust the right amount, although I could have definitely eaten many many more! The Pastor taco was just the right mix of sweet &salty, will be a must order for future visits. We decided we had to also try the Sonoran Hot Dog and it was a winner as well.It came on a split top bun like you would get with a lobster roll and it was excellent. First time I've had one with black beanson it and it was excellent. Read more

When we entered the restaurant was packed yet the vibe was cozy and the smell of mesquite or pecan wood filled the small... restaurant, we waited 30 minutes for the dinner rush and glad we did. Ordered the Mole Chicken, was a unique take on thisclassic somewhat sweet with agave nectar or honey served with pickled peppers onions and cauliflower which I could have donewithout but the mole chicken was awesome. This Arizona and North West valley native has become bored of the rinse and repeatMexican restaurant menus in our area so this Oaxacan cuisine inspired menu is most welcome and was right up my alley. Everyoneenjoyed the margaritas and the flan at the end. Read more

We went here after church service on a Sunday and the place was busy, but not hectic. We were acknowledged right away with a... smile and was seated outside on the patio. It was a wonderful experience with delicious unique fresh food, sincere friendlyservice, and beautiful weather on the patio. I had the Red Snapper (see pic) and assembled yummy little tacos. The fish wascooked perfectly and very fresh. (I am cautious and picky about my fish because, well, Arizona) My mother in law had the steakand goat cheese stuffed pepper (forgot the actual name of dish). It was so indulgent and unique, yet came together wonderfully. Not like anything we've eaten. My husband had the taco trio and surprisingly enjoyed the papas (potato one) the most. He is abig meat eater. Lol. He didnt love the fried fish taco. But said he would definitely eat here again!! We all would! Definitelyrecommend. Read more
