I ordered a salad and got a giant bowl of kale and chicken and nothing else. I don?t know how you mess up a salad? I called and... all they offered was a remake. So then I had to waste another 20 minutes driving to the store and back. They didn?t offer a compor anything. Nothing to write home about. Pretty forgettable. Much better "healthy" restaurants in the area to go to.
I use to come here all the time and was finally near today and decided to stop by. I ordered the southwest bowl (my fave) and... the girl making it was quite rude. She was very unpleasant and acted so bothered. I ignored it until I paid, I attempted to say?thank you? and she cut me off and said ?you?re welcome? with the worst attitude. I usually go to Salad to Go, and decided to try Mad Greens BIG MISTAKE! I ordered a create your own salad, and create your own... wrap. Each had literally 3 teaspoons of chicken and very unfresh greens and tiny amounts of everything. Also ALOT more expensivethan Salad to Go and ALOT less of everything.. Maybe they had an off day? One of my favorite salads in the valley! The Don Quixote is delish! I just wish they wouldn?t charge for an item when you?re... taking items off. ???? If you take off tomatoes, but want to add onions, I don?t think I should be charged for the onions.??????????? Now, that doesn?t mean add all the extras for nothing, there should be like a 2 item swap rule, with exceptionsbeing meat, grains & avocado. Anyway, I love their salad. Update: tried it again and with the knowledge of it being cold it was more enjoyable this time around. Healthy and... delicious. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent meal, but it was cold. I'm used to wraps with chicken having warm chicken. Thesauce was good on the southwestern wrap. Read more
How was Mad Greens? Well I'm more of a meat and potato person myself. I had had a string of non veggie meals and asked the wife... if she wanted to go to Mad Greens. I went there with the wrong impression and once I seen the menu it all looked pretty good. Itwas really good. I got the small portion cause I'm cheap but when they made it and put it the bowl there was a lot of food. Ireally enjoyed my salad, the wife got a wrap. I will try a wrap next time just because....
