This was a great find, suggested by a very good friend here in the Valley. We really enjoyed the complimentary guacamole and... salsa, and decided to try a very unusual appetizer....a spicy savoury watermelon "salad", which was delicious. Highly recommendtrying this refreshing dish. We opted for the lunch special of 2 street tacos with beans and rice. Good value, and tastychoices. I tried the grilled shrimp for one taco and al pastor for the other. The whole meal was delicious and I'd be happy togo back to try other dishes. Service was good and the restaurant wasn't overly busy when we chose to have lunch around 1:30 on aweekday. Read more
This place is top notch! From the incredible food, to the great atmosphere and the best service! We loved everything about it. I... appreciate that they had vegetarian options that I could customize and make vegan. That's always a 5 star for me and harder tofind. Love the salsa options. We will most definitely be coming back. Forgot to get our servers name so she could get a 10 starreview but she had a very cool tattoo on her hand with trees and I believe it was Cerunnos. The chips and salsa are super good- love them at this place! I had the chicken fajitas and was pleased with every part of it, I... especially like how they sauté their onions and thin sliced bell pepper. The refried beans have a bit of spice in them, givingextra flavor. My friend had the quesadillas and enjoyed them as well. And Our service was great! Read more
Pina margarita was a little sweet and could?ve had a little more heat, but overall was good. Can?t go wrong with a Blue Moon.... The Grenada Guac was different and had good flavor. The rice and beans both had a good spicy kick in them, but not too much formost people. The Carne Asada looked and felt broiled but it held flavor well. Least favorite of the three. The grilled shrimptaco was good as well. The best taco was Al Pastor. The pickled onions really added the perfect amount of acidity. The food here is authentic Mexican and tasted fresh! We discovered that they serve many varieties of Salsa with the chips, our... favorite salsa is the Pineapple Salsa. We tried the Fried Avocado Taco, Chicken Enchilada, Charred Avocado Taco and the CaramelFilled Churros. The servers were all cheerful and happy with super fast service. From the friendly service at the hostess desk, to the great waitress and the amazingly tasty food it was an afternoon I would... soon like to repeat! The flavors of the food are incredible. We had a variety of dishes. The salsa, refried beans and cheesesauces were so yummy-charred tomatoes add just the right amount of smoky flavor! They accommodated our request to split a saladbowl. I think you have to know what/how to order. If we had ordered 3 (small) street tacos at $5/each we would have beendisappointed. This is my first time in Arizona. I was looking forward to the authentic Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! I had... tacos boraccho Plato and a papas street taco. My husband had tequila lime chicken burrito smothered in cheese sauce. The meatwas seasoned perfectly. We also had the Mexican cornbread. It was so good, not too spicy. Great tacos and friendly staff! Came in for a late happy hour and stayed for dinner. The bar made great drinks (spicy jalapeno... margaritas), and gave solid recommendations - the potato taco and the barbacoa enchilada were delicious. Definitely will be back- next time for Taco Tuesday. Read more
