The only thing good about this place was the oyster friskies. The Philly had a bunch of fat and just not an impressive taste.... Johnny was great with the kids but our waitress was forgetful (there were only 2 other tables besides us). The service wasaltogether extremely slow. Read more

Well it took 2 hours to get our food 30 minutes to get our drinks...it was hot and very stuffy. The only reason I gave it 3... stars is because the Redfish Tacos were amazing; along with EVERY food item we ate here. Visiting the area and found this gem and couldn't be more pleased. For lunch, we had the smoked tuna dip and it was delicious!... We also had the fish tacos, fried, and the fish was perfectly cooked and I loved the pickled onions on the side. Hubby had thecombo platter which included fries oysters, scallops, claws, shrimp over a healthy portion of tater tots. It was all fried andover the tater tots so both Definately a hit for him. Great place. Food's very good, laid back vibe, water views and outside seating. Decent prices, portion sizes and strong, tasty... drinks as well. Our server was Lisa and she is fantastic. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about everything on themenu. We stayed for a few hours while waiting for our condo check-in. She made sure we had everything we needed and didn't mindus staying long and taking up a table. Just fyi, they serve breakfast till 12 and only do lunch after that. Read more

Hesitant to try The Sandbar due to previous breakfast reviews. Gave it a shot and couldn?t have been more pleased. Great service... on a dreary Saturday morning with my family. Restaurant was toddler friendly, great value, solid mimosas, and if you judge abreakfast chef by his Benedict the crab cake benny was spot on with a firm white and runny yolk. I?ve had too many disappointingbreakfasts in Pensacola, I?m glad this wasn?t one of them.
