My hubby and I had a nice anniversary dinner here. Service was very good, our waitress was super nice. It was the first time... being offered my choice of steak knife out of a box or being served a warm towel scented with almond oil on a plate to wipe myhands???? Nice touch. Views of the Gulf are of course amazing and being born and raised here that never gets old. Ambiance/decorwas appealing. Casual chic is the vibe they're going for here. Food is where it could've been better for me if they want tojustify their prices. The lobster enchilada was kinda bland. The loster mac and cheese was so-so. The lobster in our surf n turfwas a bit overcooked. Didnt care for the dessert which was a molten lava cake. Food Highlights of this place were the watermelonand heirloom tomato salad. AMAZING! The cocktails were delicious and the alcohol they use, I can tell, were high-end because itdidn't give us headaches. their steak was probably the most tender, juiciest steaks I ever had. I was also disappointed afterspending almost $400, we didnt even get our dessert as complimentary for our anniversary. Phenomenal! That is the best word to describe our dinner experience. I booked reservations for dinner to celebrate my wife's... birthday. We hadn't been here before so it was a big risk on my part but Drift came through! The view can't be beat, but I'msure anyone reading this knew that already. The food was mildly under seasoned for my taste but my wife thought her dinner wasperfect. When I say "mildly under seasoned," that was by no means a knock on the food. It was still incredibly delicious! Byfar though, the best part of our night was Sara, our server! She was attentive, knowledgeable, fun, but most impressive, she hadthe prefect balance of hanging out conversing without over stepping her time at our table. She made us feel as though we wereher only table, and we were not, but she didn't hanging out so long that the romantic mood was ruined. Filet rare extra salt and pepper superb!! Mashed potatoes and asparagus superb!! Whole main lobster superb!! Oysters Parmesan... superb!! Salads superb!! The food is seasoned perfectly, and consistent I?ve ate there on more then one occasion!! Thisrestaurant has some of the best food I have ate across the United States of America!! Atmosphere is great. Service is efficient, friendly, and smooth. Drinks were on point. They make a great French 75, and have a... good wine selection. Yellow tail appetizer highly recommended. Scallops are good, but should have had a side dish other thanrice. I had the red snapper, which sounded great when you read it on the menu, but was quite disappointing. It was covered witha tasteless red sauce. Crème brûlée dessert is amazing. Read more
We dined in for Christmas Eve and had a wonderful meal. I chose a snow crab and kale salad, Prime Rib and cheese cake with... blueberries, the food was outstanding! Sara was our server and she was very attentive and really made our evening such apleasure. Overall, outstanding experience and we will return! Read more
Have you ever heard good things about a place and you go there and it's nothing special, well this place met and exceeded... expectations! We went here for my wife's birthday and this place was amazing, everything we ordered was fantastic, the drinkswere also tasty and well presented. The servers, bar maid , hostes and manager were all very friendly and helpful. Great placeto have a nice dinner. The views are fantastic from the balcony and really not a bad seat in the place. We will definitely bemaking another visit here soon! Great atmosphere but not stuffy, nice casual dress, kakies and nice shirt, dress shorts and nicefishing shirt, or sport coat, all were present in here. An update, one of my coworkers and his family and out of town visitorsdined at Drift last night 9-23-2021and said that they had a very pleasant experience and food and service was excellent! Very nice Restaurant during the day your going to have a beautiful view. Food is good but some fish and seafood can be better... cooked. Service is good and Restaurant inside is awesome. Read more
