I'll start by saying this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food is great and the prices are even better. However,... this place gave me food poisoning, and it's the sickest I've ever been in my life. For that reason, I've not been able toreturn. I would say eat here at your own risk. Super mediocre. Got a braised pork banh mi and shrimp roll... both were meh and the oil used for the roll was old. My buddy got... a chicken banh mi and said the same thing; kinda bland, way more carrots than anything else, a couple of thin strips of prettyflavorless meat at the bottom. I might be spoiled after having legitimate banh mi in San Diego, from the delis at the back ofVietnamese corner stores where my friend had to translate, but these were not it.
