Cons then pros: The staff in general can be a bit slow to interact and serve. They seem to place reserved seating all over the... place, despite no one ever actually coming to sit there (witnessed this multiple times as I usually stay and drink for a minimumof 2hrs). However, the drinks are amazing, 100% recommend their Manhattan. The staff may not talk much, but when they do it'salways with a smile and extremely cordial. I avidly drink at The Kennedy for my cocktails but since their opening, I have comehere more and more. Read more
Local review: I gave The Well another shot a year later. Bartender was very nice but unfortunately their cocktails are still... subpar and bland. I would recommend Union Public House for the best cocktails, staff and vibes in Pcola. Read more
Great atmosphere and live music on a Saturday. Music was good, but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Only reason for... giving 3 stars was the bill came and it was $30.00, and take in to consideration I usually tip 20%, so $36.00. I only had a $100bill in my wallet and gave it to the waitress. She came back a few minutes later and said they couldn't break it. Keep in mindthey would have only had to come up with $64.00. This was already around 7:40pm. She asked if I had a card and I provided it tohave her return with a receipt showing a surcharge of 3.5% or an additional $1.01 charge. I am only posting this for principalas that charge will not break me, but I was willing to pay cash with no additional charge. If you as a business cannot beakcurrency, then don't charge fees if you are asking for me to produce a credit card. Read more
ONE OF A KIND? A true upbeat Floridian Lounge. The Well is hands down one of the best lounges in Pensacola. When you walk into... the Well you are immediately whisked away to another world. The atmosphere is so inviting, relaxing, and yet casually upbeatthat you can't stop looking around. The vibe is that of an upscale bohemian lounge meets crouching Flamingo hidden Jaguar. Youjust have to experience it for yourself. The staff is very friendly, quick, and attentive to ensure you get the experience youdeserve and are very knowledgeable to suggest a great cocktail. Cocktails are delicious and go with the vibe, definitely trythe Scuba Steve. Additionally, the lounge snacks are phenomenal. The Wells Oyster selection is the best in the City if you likeEast, West, and local Gulf Coast Oysters you will not be disappointed. The smoked fish dip is also a delicious staple. The Well I?ve heard is a newer establishment in Pensacola. You can see how much time and effort was put into this absolutely... gorgeous bar. There are couch areas for a nice sized group that feel like you?re sitting in your own living room. It?s conduciveto intimate conversations or near us, a girls night out of 10. The garage door sliders add an open feel and the colors and decorthroughout radiate a cool vibe. You can tell no expense was spared in creating this atmosphere with the leather couches, wickerlighting above and furniture and color throughout. Now THE COCKTAILS! It has the usual upscale suspects but with a unique twiston all. All juices were freshly squeeze and they used fresh herbs like rosemary and mint. The effort paid off as they burst withflavor and didn?t have the normal acidity of most bar drinks. They go down very easily and you still feel fine the next day whenyou partake. The ladies bathroom was so adorable with a flamingo theme and these vibrant walls and doors. A few ladies werewaiting for me to leave so they could take photos of it to post on their Instagrams. Well done designer! I took a quick snapshotmyself. All in all The Well took top marks for me! I didn?t have a chance to try some of their cold food items like oysters butI will definitely be back!
