Great service, really good food. They used to have 'redneck egg rolls' which were amazing. They changed the name, and apparently... changed the recipe slightly, too. They're still really, really good... almost as good as before. I had the steak burger whichwas just what I was hungry for. My friends shared a rib platter and some fried okra, which was wonderful! My wife and I were visiting Florida. I had a taste for baroque. So I search places near our hotel and stumbled across Sonny's. ... And so we went to try it and was very well pleased with our service, our server and most of all the food. Our server name wasMattie and she did an excellent job. We were in a hurry and needed pretty fast. I ordered at the take out door(area). I got 3 big meals with all the extras.... Expecting to have a long wait, I was pleasantly surprised for about 10-12 minutes. I parked across from the door and they walkedit to my car. They have a drive up window also. I have eaten inside and the service was good. It has a down home feel. Theprices aren't too bad. The food is definitely worth the price. The employees were nice and helpful. Read more
The visit started out great. The service was prompt and courteous and the food came out very quick. The food was all delicious.... The problem came when I needed a refill and my cup was near the edge of the table the two servers, including my own server,ignored it. Then when they do acknowledge we need a refill, they only ask about my wife's drink. The dinner was great until thatpoint. First time here. Right off the bag service there was great. Greeted at the door and our server was very friendly. So my... coworker and I ended up both ordering the sampler. It was very good a lot of food that we ended up taking a to go box. Theyeven gave us a to go drink. Right on. The food was well prepared. Food was good but my order was wrong. They gave me 2 chocolate chip cookies instead of the banana pudding I ordered. Assuming... since they didn't highlight that, they were out. However substituting it without asking, and for an item that cost 6.00 lessthan what I ordered is pretty rude. It's basically stealing money from me. Probably won't return due to that. Read more
