My wife and I ate at this location for the first time today. They were very short staffed. It took about 5 minutes waiting at... the front door to get sat by a waitress but we sat at the bar top. Phillip, the man behind the bar, was very busy as was thewaitress and it did take 15 minutes at best to get a cocktail I ordered. With everything considered, being short staffed, onlytwo employees working the entire front dining area, along with the waitress tending to a guest on the deck outside eating, theexperience was great! I'm not sure if Phillip was a server bartender or acting manager on duty but he was engaging apologeticabout the wait and checked on us as often as he could. It was obvious everyone was doing their best and aside from waiting a fewminutes for things here and there (which was definitely acceptable) the food was great (kudos to the kitchen staff) my drink wasdelicious and we weren't there too long for lunch. We will definitely be back again!! The experience could only be better on ournext visit seeing how well our experience was today with everything going on and their staffing issues. Excellent work! I brought a friend of mine in to shrimp basket in Warrenton. Our server was Hailey. She was very nice and attentive. We were... seated right away and our drinks came to us quickly. She?s a very hard-working waitress and made sure that we were well takencare of. She answered all the questions we had and it was the first time my friend had eaten there. He was impressed with theservice and the food and said he would bring his family back. Looking forward to sitting down to another meal and having Haleyas my waitress again. Ended up here because the place we were looking to go was closed. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered fish/shrimp tacos, the... red snapper over rice, fried pickles, caramel key lime pie and a boozy frozen drink. It was all excellent. The sweet tea isprobably some of the best we have had. If you are into oysters they have them for $0.79 each. Not sure if that was a special orregular price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because although our server was sweet she kept telling us how tired shewas and as soon as she asked about something she would turn and walk away without giving us a chance to talk or ask questions.I'm guessing she is young and inexperienced. Amazing food and even better customer service and environment! Was honestly not expecting much from this place at first glance.... The name and location really threw me and my friends for a loop but since it was so close to our hotel we decided to give it ashot. As soon as we walked in staff greeted us and seated us immediately. We noticed they had outside seating and decided tomove outside since the weather was great! Waitress offered her top recommendations and we each got one. Coconut Shrimp, CajunShrimp Pasta and Blackened Redfish topped with Seafood Cream Sauce. The food was delicious and the portions were exact! My pastawas a very large portion that I did not finish and took home leftovers. Our water was never empty and the waitress was superattentive and constantly checking on us. Just wanted to shout out Ms. Holly and another lovely young lady whom unfortunately i cannot remember her name .This specific... location is usually our date night spot close to home, and yesterday we stopped in after a long evening of running errands . Wegot there literally within minutes of their closing time unknowingly, (usually we are there earlier) and we were going to lookat other options in the area. As we were heading back out the door, these two LOVELY ladies insisted that we make our orderseven though I?m sure they wanted to finish their evening duties. We were ready to take our orders to go, but again theyreassured us it was no problem to eat there . Food was delicious as always, drinks from the bar were fantastic, and Ms. Hollyand the other young lady were kind, quick , and nice to talk with while we enjoyed our food . It was really enjoyable allaround, ESPECIALLY after the long day we had, and we certainly appreciate the extra mile they went to accommodate us lastminute, y?all go see them !!! Read more
