Not very friendly ???? looking for a place to hangout this morning and enjoy some coffee. Saw on google that this place had... 100% Kona coffee, so I made a beeline to her cafe. Greeted by Shirley herself (the owner). It was my first time there, but I hadalmost no time with the menu, and she was pressing me for my order, even though she was helping someone else. I would have likedto take more time to decide what I wanted, but this lady just wanted me to hurry, so I ordered the breakfast burrito and thecoffee that brought me in. Tried to make small talk about Hawaii with her, but that was uncomfortable, so I stopped. Would havestayed to eat, but that was uncomfortable also, so I left. Got to my car and discovered she made me a breakfast crossiantinstead of the burrito ???? I ordered. Oh well? I guess I won?t be back. The coffee ?? is okay, but it does not come with theAloha spirit usually served with Kona coffee. Read more

Not a serious coffee shop. There was no fresh baked good like the pictures they show on Maps ???? some shrink wrapped cookies... are all you get. The restaurant is cluttered with random things including (not kidding) two shopping carts. I ordered anAmericano and she poured in some old espresso and added hot water from the industrial coffee machine. Two sips later I dumped itout. Read more

This was a great find! If you?re looking for a cozy, friendly hideaway to do work or meet up with good friends, this is the... place to do it. It?s an old house where each room has its own personality. You can sit in a sun room or tuck away in a cozycorner. The staff is friendly and the food is great, too. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and I worked therefor about 4 hours no problems. Read more

We spent a rainy Sunday morning at Shirley's and left with full bellies and smiles. I had the breakfast burrito with fresh fruit... and house blend coffee. The food was amazing and the service impeccable! We sat in the room overlooking the garden listening toLouis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald croon over the speakers. Art adorned the walls from local artists, some pieces for sale tothe public. Family friendly, as we were able to let our one year old play on the floor beside us as we ate without stares ofjudgement. If you are looking for a cozy new brunch spot, I highly recommend Shirley's! Read more

Very quaint and charming place. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The waitress was very sweet, helpful, and polite. I... ordered a pastry that I didnt care for upon trying and she gladly switched it out for me. The white chocolate macadamia nutcookie was delicious, but I didnt care for the mixed greens and carrot pastry or the java banana chocolate coconut muffin. Theonly reason i am giving it a 4/5 is because it was a little pricey for the portion size. This would be a great place to come andsip on a cup of coffee and relax. Definitely a young and hip millenial sort of hangout spot. Read more
