Mr. Shawarma was a FABULOUS, although unplanned, stop on our cross country drive that ended up being the best part of our day!... It?s not easy to feed a family with different dietary needs while on the road - one picky carnivore, one dieting carnivore and avegetarian, but Mr. Shawarma delivered BIG! They also offer halal meat, alcoholic beverages, contact-free pick up, delivery andcatering. Order: Do yourself a favor and order the Garlic Creme sauce! We did everything but lick the container, lol. I orderedthe vegetarian Falafel wrap served on the most delicious warm pita I?ve ever eaten! My husband ordered the Chicken ShawarmaPower Bowl served with rice (or on salad upon request), Chicken Shawarma, Feta cheese, Chickpea Hummus and thin shaved onionslices. The kid ordered the Lamb Gyro served on pita bread with Lamb, Tzatziki sauce, Romain lettuce shreds and the Tomato andshaved Onion on the side. The presentation was simple, the prices and portion sizes were fair and the food wasmagnificent! Pros: Mr. Shawarma has the sweetest staff? very thoughtful to customers. Check out the Family and Friends picturewall hanging in the hallway. The dining area is a bit on the smaller side, but has everything you?d need to enjoy a great meal. There?s a few tables, a cooler offering specialty drinks and even high chairs for the littles. There?s a small single personbathroom at the end of a long hallway that was clean and well kept. Don?t let the strip mall location or tired decor in thislittle hole in the wall restaurant put you off. When the line is out the door, you know you?ve stumbled upon something special! They also cater for family get-togethers or parties. We can?t wait to go back soon. Cons: Check the hours of operation beforeyou go as they open a bit late at 11:00am and close early by 8:00pm. Consider calling ahead for your order to avoid long waittimes. During our 45 min dinner, we saw many people lining up to order takeout food as well as many driver?s pick Read more

Checked out this place the other day, unfortunately, when we went, their point of sale system was down temporarily. Surprisingly... enough, a patron offered to buy our lunch! Absolutely incredible, we both had the lamb...it was a heavenly experience. Thepeople at the front were super nice and we really felt welcome upon entering the establishment. We had never been there beforebut always ordered it from DoorDash. I've added this spot to my short list of great local places to grab a bite, sit down andexperience some incredible Middle Eastern cuisine. Read more

I ordered chicken shawarma. I had it with greens. It was juicy, good flavor and a generous amount of food. We also shared hummus... as an appetizer. We?ll definitely eat here again. Read more

Very pleasant experience, the service was friendly and the food was very tasty. You can tell the care that goes into each meal... and how fresh it is. Average portions and pricing. The inside dining area is small and quaint but they also do to-go orders.Fully recommend! Read more

If you haven't already checked this place out, You NEED to! This place reminded me of a place I used to eat at growing up in NY.... The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so quiet and quaint! I had the Beef Shawarma with yellow rice, feta, tsaziki sauce andhummus..Food was fresh an cooked to order, and OMG the smells before the food came out had me drooling. The food was to Diefor..so good! The rice and meat were cooked to perfection and seasoned so well! I think This is Family run business...but Thekid at the counter, His customer service skills were TOP notch! I look forward to seeing him continue this legacy because thefood is authentic and made with love! I highly recommend! Read more

Mr. Shawarma is a quaint restaurant off 9th Avenue just a minute from Cordova mall with a couple tables for inside seating and... delicious Mediterranean cuisine. We ordered two lamb shawarma wraps at 9.99 each, a delicious chicken shawarma over greens (withfresh greens, sweet peppers, radishes, onions, lightly dressed) at 9.99, and a large fry which was more than enough for the fourof us to share at 4.99. The shawarma wraps were fresh and delicious, as was the salad, which was perfectly dressed andrefreshing yet filling. The fries were just normal and could have used some seasoning but were hot and crispy. Service wasfast and the food was prepared and served in around 10 minutes or less. Overall a great experience for us tonight! Read more

I called in and Got the chicken shawarma bowl to go and it was pretty good. The chicken is tender and flavorful, veggies fresh,... and the garlic creme sauce is scrumptious. The cashier taking my phone order and cashing me out when I got there was very niceand helpful. I probably wouldn?t get lettuce on my bowl again as it didn?t hold well in the drive back to the office to eat. Allin all, it was a good experience. Read more
