I had the sesame chicken with steamed rice and an egg roll. The problem was that the chicken itself is the lowest quality I've... ever had in this dish. The worst in Pensacola. All chewy, gristled, dark meat and skin. The sauce and crispy coating wereokay, but it doesn't make up for the horrible chicken. Egg roll was okay and the steamed rice is low quality. Great China usesa higher quality rice and it really helps. Read more

We went to this place a few times cause it?s close to us! Each time we went the quality of the food has gone farther down hill.... We had Veggie Foo Young and Gen Tso Chicken last night. 4/27/22. Only two veggies in Foo Young (mushrooms & onions), and gravywas liquidy runny. Guess they don?t use flour to thicken! Gen Tso Chicken was real crunchy & hard to chew and most pieces werew/o chicken, just crispy dough! Whatever the fried roll was gooey inside and no meat at all! Good thing we were hungry after along day on the water or I would have took it back! We chose this place because some of the good reviews. Not going back! Read more

Finally a place that makes their own dumplings, and Mapo Tofu, an authentic dish. Better than the cookie cutter Chinese... restaurants, and good portions. Read more

Very good food. Well prepared and flavorful. Seasoning is just right. Generous servings. (Prices are higher than I expected but... food prices have been on the rise everywhere). A couple of observations: The Moo Shu Pork does not include pancakes, at leastmy order didn't, but the menu states that Moo Shu Chicken does. Strange. Also, all Chinese food carryout restaurants I havepatronized over the years either put packages of soy and duck sauces in the bag for you or ask you if you would like any. I donot understand why Mr. Chen offers neither. But despite these shortcomings, we enjoyed the Moo Shu Pork (delicious with whiterice), Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the Vegetable Lo Mein. You won't be disappointed with Mr. Chen. Just keep the aboveobservations in mind. Read more

First time customer. Food was up to par. Ordered take out. They forgot the pancakes with an eight dollar moo shu chicken. Called... backed when I got home. offered me double the pancakes next order lol. The cashier told me the pancakes are forgotten often. Idon't know, but it's like fajitas without the tortillas... I'll give them one more try. Otherwise I'll drive the extra mile to"Uncle Jiang" Good luck!! Read more

Served Hot, the tasty, ample portions were savory and for the price, the exceptional dinner selection was filling and flavored... to perfection. This location is my new favorite place to get green pepper steak and onions. The inside of the business wasclean, fully stocked of various drink choices you could choose from. The order didn't take long and the knowledgeable front ofthe house staff was friendly, efficient, and extremely professional. I will be returning for more delicious green pepper steakwith onions. Thank you for making my mid-day meal an excellent memorable experience. Be well.???? Read more

Mr. Chen is our family favorite in Pensacola/Bellview as a go to for excellent Asian-American/Chinese food! A family owned and... operated restaurant with high standards of service, including the food always served hot and delicious, fresh ingredients, andthey have the preparation time down to a science. You never have to wait too long if you walk in and the time they give forpick up is always correct. Some of our favorite dishes include the different Lo Meins, Moo Shu Vegetables, General Tso?sChicken (chefs specialities), fried dumplings, Kung Po Chicken, and Sliced Beef in Chinese Tea Sauce (chefs specialties). Greatlocal restaurant to support. Easy five stars! Read more

The food was delicious but sadly they got our order wrong. My family asked for chow mein and we got a container of cabbage-based... vegetables. It still tastes great though. I recommend getting the sesame chicken, it's delicious. The egg drop soup was reallygood too! Read more
