This was our first visit here and I cannot say enough good things! Adam took amazing care of us and helped walk us through the... menu. When I arrived at McGuire's around noon, there was a small line, so went inside to check on wait time. I was pleasantly... surprised when they said 5 to 15 minutes wait time. I only waited about 10 minutes to get a table. The ordered the Patty Meltsandwich. The portion size was large. The staff and service was excellent. I had been told by friends that this place was awesome and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Our server Michelle told us... she was new. This was only her like second week. You could not tell. She handled our table of seven LIKE A PRO! She never misseda drink request, a refill, she handled the people in our group with dietary restrictions. She was wonderful. Now on to the mouthwatering, fantastic, absolutely amazing FOOD! The prime rib was so tender and came with freshly roasted garlic. You would nothave even need teeth to chew it was so good. McGuire's continues to serve great food, and service, at great prices. Love this place. Go early, before 4 pm, to get a good... parking spot since this is a very popular place. Loved the fish and chips and hot brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Reuben egg roll appetizer was super delicious. Love the pub style environment. A definite return trip is in order and a mustplace to see when in Pensacola. Steaks are also very good here. Read more

McGuire's Irish Pub has an amazing atmosphere, the interior has a nice décor and a lot of history. Having read so many good... reviews about the place, I had high expectations. The spinach dip was amazing. In general food was good, but they pridethemselves as being as steakhouse. I ordered the NY steak which was very chewy and I don't think it's worth $50. I was not happywith the steak and I talked with the server about it but she didn't seem to care. Even thou the experience was not that great,I would return to try the burgers. Read more
