I loved this place and ate here frequently but now they changed their tacos and not for the better the tortillas are flour and... not corn they are smaller and fall apart so it?s hard to finish a taco. They changed the jalapeño they are not fresh roastedany more and I?m pretty sure they changed the meat I?ve tried twice since the change and it was more gristle than meat. So we saw a couple reviews about the Birria tacos so we came down to see what the fuss was all about. Wow, what incredible... tacos. Slightly deep fried with stewed beef and mozzarella cheese and a big cup of dipping sauce. It was a Mexican take on adebris sandwich you?d find in New Orleans. The pickled jalapeños and carrots were a great addition. They need to advertise thisjewel and take some of the customers from the joint down the street. A whole lot of delicousness. Lupitas was located right outside of my hotel window and had a line forming all the time. I was... determined to try their food and I was not disappointed. I was lucky to get their birria taco only served on certain days. Ithink it was on a Wednesday. The California burrito was yummy and loved their red sauce. It?s very very spicy to give a fairwarning.
