Townhouse was nice but the club should be ashamed of the way they handled the storm Ian. Closed the beach club, the pool, the... exercise room, all for ?hurricane preparation.?Even after it was determined that the storm would not hit Perdido Key, thingscontinued to remain closed. Didn?t even rain?. I?ve heard from other residents that this is commonplace for this leadershipteam. They did take the time and labor to station security guards to prevent anyone from using the pool or exercise room.Remember- no exercise room due to hurricane (NOT) preparations. The security guards were all rude and nasty - except for onenice woman we encountered on a Saturday afternoon. Read more

Multiple pools that are beautifully maintained. There also was plenty of available lounge chairs by each pool every day so you... don't have to worry about getting chairs. Our condo's pool was literally right next to us with 2 grills (propane provided!) andcounter space covered by a gazebo so cooking was easy even if it started to rain. The golf club has good food and was veryreasonably priced, and it was also a 30 second walk from our condo. We never had to wait for a table. Our condo (304-B) wasclean and modern with a washer and dryer in our unit. SPACIOUS BATHROOMS!!.. we had a whole bunch of girls with us but gettingready for a night out was not an issue because there was enough room, counter space, and large mirrors in both bathrooms toaccommodate us all getting ready at the same time. The beach club makes this place. Clean. Beautiful and modern with a bar andkitchen to order food. The bathrooms at the beach club are super clean, not a gross beach bathroom that you typicallyencounter. The pool at the beach club is small but it's really for dipping in to cool off while sunbathing (kids still were ableto swim and had a great time if the ocean isn't their thing). The rest of the pools in the community were big and fun. There isa shuttle service that will pick you up and take you across the street to the community's private beach club so you don't haveto stress about finding parking. They have lounge chairs and umbrellas available and the view is gorgeous. This is also a gatedcommunity so it's very safe and there is a grocery store a minute away in case you have to pop out for something. There is anadorable little dog beach less than a mile away with parking. AMAZING, HASSLE FREE VACATION!!! Read more

Stayed at a Lost Key townhome first of July that inside was very nice but the 2 sets of stairs got old. Found out after we got... there that the large resort pool was closed. We were told every day a part has been ordered and it should be fixed soon but itnever was. The extremely small pool on the beach could hold about 10 people and was very dirty so we had no use of a pool. Wewere refunded 1 days rent but we chose it based on having a pool so it was a huge deal to us to not have any pool access. Thereis also no beach parking unless you can park in the one of about 10 spaces in the public beach parking next to Lost Key. Walkingwould take about 20 minutes from the townhome we stayed in so had to take the shuttle that you can call to come get you at yourplace but sometimes is a long wait. If you have a lot of beach stuff you can?t take it all on the shuttle so really need a carto drop everyone off at beach then one person drive back and take the shuttle. There is a small restaurant by the tiny pool butit was only open Thursday to Sunday. There was no using key cards to access resort or beach- doors were always open so noenforcing public use of the whole area. Also when we first arrived the security gate worker was extremely rude to my sister andus. Overall it is poorly managed and maintained. Definitely won?t stay here again. Read more

We are currently staying at Lost Key Golf & Beach Club and we WOULD NOT recommend coming here. We booked our family vacation... home through Vacasa and have not been able to contact the owners about the numerous issues we have had. Upon arrival we wereonly given 2 parking passes with 3 cars. This created issues of getting in and out of the club with 3 cars as passes had to bepassed back and forth. Parking passes should be easy to distribute to each vehicle a family is bringing. Only 1 keycard forentry to amenities was provided and it is broken. We've reached out multiple times to the owners with no response and the HOA.The HOA is supposably working on it but this is day 4 with no resolution. Very frustrating as we can't access the pool, gym orbeach club without key card access. There also is no information about the shuttle that runs to and from the beach club. We hadplanned to take the shuttle as a whole family and not take 3 separate cars. Again this is DAY FOUR! Issues like this should nottake 4 days to resolve to paying customers. A parking pass was delivered to our home...so we know SOMEONE is getting ourrequests...they just need to really do a better job. Next up for a horrible review....VACASA because they have done NOTHING aswell. Read more

To begin, it?s important to note that the owner of this unit was kind & communicated with us when I reached out about our... experience/troubles in the moments, but this community was so poorly ran during our time here that I wish the owner would domore to make right what we experienced. I?ve been told this is a rarity with this property & community but as a loyal lifetimebeach-goer of over 25+ years to the gulf coast, this is hands down the worst experience I?ve had. I do wish the owner would?veoffered to reimburse us for beach service because we had to be our OWN beach service for 2/3 days of our trip. Day 1: Afterwaiting on the shuttle that was advertised yet never ran that day, when we finally arrived to the beach in the 10am hour, therewere no beach service workers. We had to, along with all other guests, drag our own big beach loungers from back by the dunes &place our umbrellas ourselves. As three young women, this was NOT ideal, particularly since we paid for this service. Day 2:Beach service never showed because of ?weather.? There were showers & storms around the area, but never did it rain until after3pm that day & EVERY other facility around us had their beach service, but not us. Again, a day I feel I should?ve beencompensated for since I didn?t have advertised beach service. Day 3: Beach service was out but with a handwritten sign askingwe stack our own loungers for them. Also, we would not have booked here had the shuttle not been advertised. Day 1 of noshuttle ruined us on trusting it, so we drove & got sand all in our vehicle in order to park in the public beach lot next doorto the beach club; although I did see it running on days 2 & 3, I?m still unclear on its run hours. It seemed that we & allother guests on the beach stayed confused & baffled on the shuttle & beach service frustrations. I?ve never stayed off of thebeachfront options, but loved how this was advertised & seemed perfect since we would be dropped right off, emulatin Read more

Nice town home community but over priced as compared to other options in the market. Town Homes don?t have enough furniture for... family larger than four. Kitchen set up is limited. Pool is cloudy and hot tub has green algae and they closed it to Public.Shuttle service starts at 11 am and only one bus which does not have enough seating. The beach umbrella and chairs have beenlocked up two of the last five days during our visit. Local residents shared that the Managment of HOA is horrible. Overall, over priced with very little amenities. Will not make this mistake again. Read more

Shot selection golf for sure. Greens were nice everything else was decent. Would have been a better experience if holes were... visible on score card had signs or something for the layout. Read more

When it comes to golf courses in the Pensacola area, Lost Key Golf Club is certainly one of the top facilities in the area. The... golf course is framed by the natural beauty of Perdido Key and is ideally located between historic downtown Pensacola and thepristine sugar sand beaches of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, AL. This signature-designed championship course features Sea DwarfPaspalum grass from the tee through the green making for some of the best playing surfaces in the area. The greens are lush androll true. Lost Key was the first golf course in the State of Florida to be certified as an Audubon International SilverSignature Sanctuary, a project that continues to protect the natural resources of the area while providing an outstanding golfexperience. Lost Key has several holes that you will remember for a while, but here are some of my favorites. Number 1 is a par5 that plays 549 yards (Blue Tees). It?s the longest hole on the course and surprisingly is only handicapped #15. Number 1 isbest played as a 3 shot hole and holds the key to getting your round off to a good start. This is achieved by keeping your teeshot in play; after all, there?s nothing worse than hitting three off the first tee! Play your layup shot towards the bunker onthe left side of the fairway. That will leave an approach shot of around 100 yards to the middle of the green. Par is a greatway to start. After your round, head into the clubhouse for your favorite adult beverage and some very tasty food. The diningroom serves both breakfast and lunch as well as dinner on Wednesday nights. The menu includes sandwiches and burgers and Ihighly recommend the club sandwich. Wednesday night dinner includes entrees such as Lemon Chicken and Truffle Shrimp. There?s aHappy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 ? 7 PM, so if you plan your round accordingly, you can take advantage of $10appetizer platters, $2 domestic drafts, $3 house wine and $4 well drinks.
